You can indeed see Xuanwu Lake, but most of the scenery is covered by the roof in front. The room is not big, there are several clothes hooks on the wall, and there are no other places to hang clothes. The soundproofing of the homestay still cannot meet my standards, so I will not elaborate on this. Fortunately, I brought earplugs. Facilities: Smart toilets, showers are new, and they are all popular. Easy to use. Hygiene: Hygiene is OK and very clean. However, I don’t know if the wall is sticking to the wallpaper, or what’s wrong? There are many large mottled marks on the wall. Environment: The homestay is in an apartment building. This is the biggest bug we feel during our stay. If it weren't for me to call the homestay, we simply didn't find it according to the navigation, because there is no homestay name and guide mark under the apartment building. Service: B&B service is good. If you want to find something to eat nearby, you have to walk a long way. There is a small shop such as duck blood vermicelli soup and pot stickers on the street near a residential building. But there is a couple's noodle shop downstairs, it is still possible to simply eat a bite. If you want to take the subway near the hotel, it is still convenient. If you walk, it takes about ten minutes to wait for the elevator to the Model Road subway station. Booking this homestay to send an adult ticket is also what attracted me at the beginning. The room was very clean and the environment was nice. There's also Guoan Temple nearby. I needed extra toiletries and the hostess provided them and even helped carry my suitcase. The service at the B&B was excellent, and there were lots of flowers, which is really great for someone who loves flowers! It was beautiful to take photos. I particularly liked the fish the owner raised; they were beautiful and plump, and it looked like he was really caring for them. The owner's cooking skills were also good, and the dishes were delicious, especially the Zundu. I would definitely choose this B&B if I were to visit again.

To avoid these issues, I prioritize checking negative reviews. I usually choose a hotel or B&B after checking at least a dozen before deciding. I chose this B&B with great care, and I was truly not disappointed. The layout is well-organized, the design is warm, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. We headed straight to the B&B after getting off the high-speed train that day. Check-in is usually at 2 PM, but fortunately, there was a freshly cleaned and vacant room available when we arrived. The owner was incredibly helpful and helpful, offering helpful tips on nearby attractions and restaurants. He even sent them to me in case I'd forgotten. It truly made me feel right at home. I was truly fortunate to find such a cost-effective, clean, and well-serviced B&B during peak tourist season. Not only was the interior warm and tidy, but the exterior was also very pleasant, with a washing machine, branded laundry detergent, a drying area, and bookshelves filled with classic books. This owner certainly impressed me with his discerning taste. I booked two consecutive days because this B&B truly gave me the feeling of excellent value. When I finally left, the hostess said she was happy to meet us and that we were very polite customers. She also welcomed us back on our next trip to Nanjing. So, if you're considering a trip, this one in Xinjiekou is a good choice. It's less than 500 meters from the subway station, making it very convenient for travel.
