Excellent service from all the staff and the admin personnel (Nompumelelo) and her assistant they are very professional we had a great time. when we arrived on our first day our room were well prepared very clean, neat and smelling good. what we liked the most is the breakfast cooked with love the ladies who were preparing the breakfast were always punctual, wearing their uniform and good sense of humor. My children enjoyed playing in the pool they loved they rooms. Some of the days it was raining but it didn't stop us to enjoy our vacation we went out to do the indoor activities Pavilion shopping center.

I stayed here for 3 nights recently and it was a lovely place. Easy to locate, beautiful grounds (two pools!) and clean, comfortable rooms with very good air conditioning (important!). The entire staff was very friendly, even the security guard knew me by name. The daily breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is walking distance from a grocery store as well as a busy street with lots of restaurants. It's a ~15 minute Uber ride to the beach and some other main attractions. And for the price, I feel like you can't get much better of a value. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The staff was very friendly, the location beautiful, but could not understand, they can make for breakfast scrumbled eggs, but no omlette? The container for soap in the shower was not fixed only hang up on the water tap so when you open the water the shampoo falls down. But these are small things, the view on the ocean and the room makes it worth to stay there . it was wonderful. Thanks a lot

This B&B sports 12 good sized to frankly large rooms, in Umhlanga Rocks, around 40 yards from the beach (our bathroom, in #3, was humongous, and beautiful). Hosts are so nice, and tolerated many COVID associated rebooking from us, and others. Grounds have a nice pool, and many cozy nooks for reading. Not many games in house, so bring your own entertainment. Breakfasts are great. Cowrie Cove is over a mile from Umhlanga, and thus over a mile from any eating or shopping establishment. Uber rides are only around 100 Rand round trip—more like 400 R for a round trip for Durban. The area has been hit hard by rains, and the beach has a lot of trash on it. Beach is pretty narrow and steep, too, and it’s hard to walk long distances on it—but that is not this establishments problem.

I had the pleausure of staying at the HoneyPot which I was in Umhlanga for Work. I was out the entire day and HoneyPot was just my place to sleep. Bob is the best host! He is such a kind soul and saw my early mornings and my late nights so proceeded to make my stay enjoyable non the less, Thank you so much Bob for my packed breakfasts that you had made everyday and put in my room so that i had something to eat before I left. And thank you to your amazing staff for cleaning my room so well that when i Came home late it was so nice to climb into a warm made up bed. Thank you for Having me! I would definitely visit again :)

I'd stayed here before and had recommended it to one of my daughters and my sister who both found it comfortable and conveniently close to King Shaka airport. Juliet of Eden Rose is always welcoming and makes delicious breakfasts. Richard, the owner, also recommended a taxi driver, Rico, who was professional, prompt and reliable. The house itself is spotlessly clean and has a lovely view of the Indian Ocean.

Beautiful place, it is very quiet and peaceful. I loved the sea view😍. The room is very clean and spacious, very friendly staff, always there to help. Breakfast was very delicious, many options to choose from, this guest house is close to many restaurants and party places, this is a huge bonus, very convenient, I highly recommend. Whether you want a peaceful stay of you want to be out and about, this is definitely the right place to book😉❤️

Had a great stay, Tinashe is so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing and clean. Would recommend this lodge any day. There was enough room to add our babies cot. And with loadshedding they still had lights! Amazing

As a couple who have travelled extensively in beautiful South Africa, and having had the privilege to stay in some of the countries best rated couples retreats and accommodation, we can honestly recommend Albion as the best Durban has to offer if you are looking for a friendly environment, good service and just the perfect position , close to all the best restaurants and night life Durban has to offer. Second time i stay there. Will do again. I probably have to go down to Durban again in January. Breakfast was good, Rooms are clean and this time i had a big room. very comfortable. Parking is reasonable secure. Very little noise. And no traffic noise.
