Answer the question in the previous comment that the boy strayed into the bathroom. The washroom is separate for men and women. The outside shower is inside the shower. I encountered a boy who accidentally entered but pushed the door of the outside bathroom and closed it with embarrassment immediately. The shower room is inside and the lock cannot be used. worry. The entire first floor is a public area. Breakfast is 3.5 Euros for one person. The door is Jaume 1 subway. It is very close to the main church of Barcelona. For those who are used to Beijing, the scale of the whole Barcelona is not large. There are many attractions in the city. Can walk, this location is OK. For girls in the eight-person room, the floor will squeak. For me who is used to staying in youth hostels, I am tired after playing for a day, and sleep is not affected. Everything else is OK. This price is ok in Europe. The front desk can buy a lock for 3 Euros or bring your own. You can put an S hook on the wall of the shower room in your bag. It is also possible to bring it without a shower. When you open the door of the shower room, you can reach the opposite side by the hook. It is not closed for 24 hours, and it is the same for Christmas. It is very convenient. Generally speaking, it is cost-effective in the youth hostel.

The location is perfect for walking and walking in the Metro, the metro station is a few steps away. There is no reception, so check-in is done by itself following the instructions that should arrive by E-Mail. We had not received any instruction by email and we called the reference number. The telephone service was able to help us and the check-in was then made without problems. The room is as you see in the photos, furnishings we enjoyed, the kitchen is equipped with microwave, water boiler, mini-fridge, coffee machine, socks and penthouses. The room was quite clean but the bathroom would have needed some more attention. If you had few bath products, I would recommend to take your own bath products or buy something locally. For the rest we found very good and the view from the room is nothing bad 😊

Pretty nice hotel with friendly staff. Its strengths are its closed car park, a very nice breakfast and its location not far from the Spanish Steps. Its negative points, a strong smell of tobacco in the room on our arrival but especially the room on the street side without double glazing so rather noisy and the height the shutter which does not close and the pigeons which come to wake you up every morning ... This is a huge hostel. The staff were great because they gave me a padlock when they realized I didn’t have one. My key card stopped working twice during my trip but they rectified the situation quickly. The hostel has a public dining area to store food and a restaurant. There are many grocery stores and cafes nearby. The rooms are fine. I recommend staff sweep the rooms when cleaning beds because the floors are very dusty. I love that there’s no curfew. This allowed me to work late in the evening. I chose the dining area because it was quieter. The gaming area and lobby see a lot of foot traffic so it’s possible to socialize there. Overall it was good stay.

No changing of sheets, but large and small towels are available for rental for an additional fee. The upper bunk of the bunk beds is open to the ceiling. So if your roommate is the type who smells bad and gives off perfume, you will be hit directly by the smell. The windows cannot be opened, and the air conditioner is set automatically at 20-25 degrees. The washing machine is 4 euros, and the dryer is 3 euros. The toilet and shower are next to each other, and the cleaner came in while I was taking a shower, and the detergent smell made me feel sick. I could see how they were cleaning when they were using the hair dryer next to the sink, but I was put off when they started wiping the sink with the towel they had used to wipe the toilet. It may depend on the person cleaning, but... I think the frequency of cleaning around the sink is quite high. As is the case in many Spanish facilities, toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet. The shared space was open. The location is good.

The wifi was fast and no account required, great. Our room was small and a view of inside of the building, it was ok. You can hear everything but it was alright, we had a nice stay! Terrace access is only until 5pm, I can understand why but it's not very useful.
