The hotel is located on the third floor of a small shopping mall to the east of the ancient city wall. It is easy to find and the location is very convenient. It is a 2-minute walk to the ancient city. Although it is a small hotel similar to a bed and breakfast, the room layout facilities are basically complete, clean, and the size is reasonable. There is only one person in charge at the front desk, who is very serious and responsible, and answers all questions. There are not many hotels in Priest, so I highly recommend this hotel in terms of cost performance.From€41

However, we still had to climb up the staircase after taking the lift which was a bit inconvenient. Location-wise, it is near to the tourist spot with everything in walking distance. The location of the hotel is very convenient to enter the ancient city. The suite design is stylish and the small terrace can see the clock tower and the sunrise. The bathroom is so big that there is a jacuzzi, but the automatic cleaning function is so loud to scare the parents. It will be better to remind you to be mentally prepared. The breakfast is very rich and the restaurant is comfortable. The dinner has a soup main dish and dessert. The taste is not wrong and the portion is large. The Hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere.
However, there are a few things one should be aware of before booking: The hotel is in the historic district just about 5 min walk west from the Prominade area. Taxis cannot drive in, so it is necessary to walk in with one's baggage. Also, any excursions will start with a walk out of the area to the main taxi stand. Navigating the area can be a challenge the first couple of times; one MUST have the ability to use their maps app. T-mobile - America has an international plan that give you up to 2G speed unlimited data and texting, but I highly recommend getting a local sim card. Look at the map of the city before choosing this hotel. There are a lot of nice restaurants within 2-5 minutes walking. Furthermore, the office closes from 11pm till 7am. Most importantly, they DO NOT take credit cards. IF you did not pay for the room online, you will need local cash, and you will need it to pay the taxes on the room, and for a taxi if you booked it through the hotel. Cash only. (They do have a zelle option, but I could not get it to work. I recommend cash. Speaking of cash, one should get it from an actual bank ATM as the rates 11% vs the 22-25% some private ATMs charge.)
I give the hotel 4 of 5 for comfort, 5/5 for cleanliness, 3 or 5 for location.

It is not far from the game of the old town rights to get the attractions, and it is convenient to walk. The room was clean and the water was delivered. The only thing to note is that remember to listen to the room number clearly, otherwise it is easy to admit mistakes. It may be unfamiliar with the way Europeans write numbers. -Staff was very absent and you need a key to get in the hotel and in room. we forgot our key in our room and realised after dinner around 11pm and even though staff should be in hotel until 3am : no one was there . We had to contact by phone only but being Canadian we didn’t have a working phone . We almost slept outside. . We got help from neighbour restaurant.
- staff supposed to start again at 7 am ; we left at 8 without checking out as again there was no one .
- my daughter got her EarPods stolen in our room we could locate them with the Apple app and could see exactly where they were . Again no staff at all in hotel to tell them cleaning person stole. (We are SURE 100% they were stolen as they didn’t leave the room we never brought electronics with us anywhere and the location they were at was 7km away from hotel where we had never been.
- they offer steaming service, I wanted to use it but they told my it took 1 week to fet my clothing back .. we were there for 4 days. Staff offered to bring a steamer to my room so I could do it myself . They never brought it…
-there was a beautiful terrace on the 4th floor but we only found out about it on our last night .
- we wanted to go to a beach and the staff said it was a 45 min walk and that’s only way to go. We walked . Finally when we got there .. we could have takes a trolley for 3euro …. We took it to come back.

The room and building were very clean with great facilities, though some of the room furniture, like the desk chair, could use a bit of a refurbishment. This however for most travelers will be no issue as you will want to be out and about exploring the city and using the room as just a home base. I will absolutely come and stay again, and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Split and my stay at Slavija. The rooms are clean, large and the service waste great. Lovely bed. The room has kettle and fridge which is helpful. Short walk from the harbour and sights which was nice in evening before sleep. Bed comfortable. Overall high standard feeling.
Breakfast and meals can be had in surrounding area, do not lot of places wanted cash only which I found annoying and the costs of food and drink were much higher than expected. The hotel is the kind of residential building renovation. The front desk has always been very convenient and can store luggage. The front desk lady will give a map, play and eat will recommend it. The room is not very big, but one person lives in a wooden problem, the bed is narrow, but sleeps quite comfortable. Very close to the ancient city, just a few tens of meters into the ancient city, so there are not many tourists here, but it is convenient. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the bus station. The room is fully equipped and the largest single room I have lived in so far is quite good. Breakfast is also very good. Especially worth mentioning is that the reception girl at the front desk is kind and very enthusiastic. It gave me a lot of travel advice. It is very good. The location is right on the beach which is nice if you want that, but otherwise a bit far from the downtown, and taxis are very expensive here, so it would cost at least 25€ to get from hotel to town. The room and view were lovely, but when I moved a rug there were bugs crawling under it. The pool and spa looked amazing but we didn't have time to go so I can't say much more than that. The breakfast was top notch, amazing, lots of delicious options for every person -- spoilt for choice. Loved the amphora displays in the lobby.From€73

Good location in the palace area, but it could be very confused because the hotel has different annex which is couple minutes walk apart. And it could be difficult to find the location of the annex, for the one I stay in named Villa Donbric couldn’t be find in Google map. Besides, since we have couple of large luggages, we look for hotel with elevator but the annex I stayed didn’t facilitated one. (I am not sure the other annex has one or not) The room is smaller than I expected, it’s a bit messy when we open up two luggage together. Other than that, it’s a cozy place to stay with helpful staff. The breakfast is served and good, with different options of eggs. I suggest extra attention is better when booking the hotel about the location and concern with luggages. Or I will suggest booking their optional pick up service.From€92

Maria at the front desk was so amazing and made guests feel at home. The hotel is in a small alley next to the pedestrian street. Crossing a small park is the entrance to the ancient city.
Breakfast is divided into meals, but the amount is super delicious. There is a small pool that is too cold to enter the water.
Maria's recommended ice cream shop and dinner restaurant (sug) is also superb! Makes visitors feel full.
The red shed in the picture is the hotel door. Their home actually has a parking space. Self-driving people must choose!From€101

Very nice hotel. Not within walking distance from old town, but very nearby if you take a bolt. A very nice breakfast place next to hotel. With roof top bar on the summer, high floor swimming pool and jazucci. Spacious room. Highly recommended.

For a 5 star hotel I must say they are just ok staff were Okish we was not allowed to be at the bar in swim wear even though we were staying at the hotel and the outdoor pool was closed, beach area was closed being fixed and indoor pool had no area to consume drinks or else

Very good location, on the 14th floor of an office building, within a 15-minute walk from the train station, bus station, pier, and the ancient city. The room is very spacious and clean, and the view is very, very good (the level of the observation deck is second to none). But the problem is that the contact information of the hotel on Ctrip is wrong (it is the phone number of another company under Luxury, not this hotel), and the hotel does not have a front desk. It took me a long time to contact the hotel to check in. Picture 3 in the comments is the correct phone number.

The room does not have a sea view.
This is not like a hotel, more like a villa, the security of it is not very high, as it has 2 entrances.
The entrance from the pool, anyone can access it without a problem.
The swimming pool was quite dirty, it has a lot of bugs floating, and also it has not been regularly cleaned by the staff.
It has a lot of restaurants nearby, and the quality and the price are better than those tourist meals in the old town.
The lift was broken on the first day, second day they informed us it is fixed. But it still has a little bit sudden sinking issue.
I guess Croatia does not have regulation of fix term lift checking, as it does not have any certificate in the lift inside/outside.
If the hotel showed 3 stars and the price is lower. I would rate
The right side of the balcony has a big tennis field on the 2nd-floor level, it is very close, and it was quite annoying that people can look over easily.
The suite does not worth 4 stars. The rug is super old, it has some stains on it.
The Front door lock is looking new, it is safe, but some electricity installation was not installed properly, it looks like you can pull them out easily.
The Electric Safety box is not working with the password, the hotel left a key in there for use.
Breakfast arrangement is well managed for guests with early tour, they could arrange breakfast box including 1 fruit, 3 breads, and 1 yogurt at 06am to 07am.
