"We needed to stay in Bendigo as our father was ill at St John if God hosp There were 4 couples/ families requiring accommodation for an unlimited time We were greeted with kindness and support the amenities were great. Comfortable beds, great showers and good food .. all in the midst of COVID Many thanks to Karen at reception who managed our unusual circumstances ( a dying parent ) and just reassured us not to worry about a thing. Thanks so much for your care at this stressful time ... we were so grateful xxxx Couldn’t recommend this hotel More . "
"The friendly helpful staff on check were very helpful. We atayed in the apartment which had remote control secure covered carparking available right next door to our accommodation. The room was very clean and remarkably quiet even though next to the main road and not far from the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel which was excellent offering an extensive menu and quick service. Definately would stay there again."
"Polite and friendly staff ... wide range of choices of items on the menu ... good food ... we have not stayed in the accommodation ... BUT ... if the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff is anything to go by ... I reckon it would have to be good."

"If you are looking for a resort type hotel in Ballarat, then you have found it. I stayed in a King suite. It was fantastic, so spacious and fully equipped with enough to live with. Yes, I would stay again, and recommend. Oh, there is a day spa here too "
"The house is ok, but like a motel. The position is biased. The surroundings are not particularly convenient."
"Very satisfied-comfortable and clean hotel"

"We went there for a short xmas break to visit Bendigo for the first time and we were very impressed. Not only because Bendigo is such lovely place but mostly because every one is so friendly and helpful. I will never forget the lovely lady who helped my mum get on and off the bus and another lady who overheard our conversation with the bus driver when we were asking for instructions and rang the bell for us when we arrived at our stop. Also we can highly recommend anyone visiting Bendigo to stay at the Tea House Motor Inn. The rooms seemed new as they were in excellent condition and immaculately clean and well maintained. It is very rare to go to a motel that is not just clean but so well maintained. The staff were so professional but down to earth, friendly and welcoming. They really went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast menu was amazing especially the croissants. Please try their croissants...served fresh, warm and oh so yuuummm. If we ever go back to Bendigo we will definitely be staying there again for sure. Thanks for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable."
"Brent and Jody are excellent hosts who run a very clean and comfortable motel opposite Lake Weeroona close to central Bendigo. Facilities are modern, rooms have en suite, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle and sink. Air conditioning is efficient and there is a pool that is welcome in Victorian summers! Outdoor BBQ is also available and a laundry. Motel is an easy 1k walk to city centre. The lake opposite is delightful for walking and running, or picnicking."
"every year we stay here for an extended work trip. Brett and Jodie are always a pleasure and go above and beyond to make sure our team has a great stay! We couldn't ask for more comfortable place to stay for our time in Bendigo. Thank you again for everything :)"

"Have experienced all sorts of accommodation in Bendigo but thought would give the Grand old lady, The Shamrock a go as it was just for a quick o/night stay on our first escape after our Melbourne lockdown. It was a Tuesday so consequently Bendigo was very quiet which was reflected in our stay at the hotel. We were upgraded to one of the new rooms with sitting separate sitting room which was very quiet and had a fabulous view of the Post Office. Don't know when the clock bongs start or stop but dead quiet due to double glazing and lovely to look out into the street first thing in the morning. Probably the quietest air conditioner I have experienced anywhere in the world which also helped with a good night's sleep and the shower was fabulous. Very clever lighting meant that night-time access to bathroom was easy. So there weren't period features but lovely clean lines in the new extension. Don't think I would be there on a Saturday night though as there are a lot of public bars and a TAB on site."
"The classic architecture combined with the history of bendigo’s gold rush plus the royal visit makes this building an Australian icon. We were lucky to be shown around some iconic rooms and see the beautiful vibe and listen to the stories. An absolute must, either just visit, stay for the night or having dinner and drinks on the balcony."
"Gorgeous room in this stunning heritage hotel. A fabulous blend of old work charm with modern facilities. The most luxurious king bed with perfect pillows and crisp white high quality linens. The room was spacious and the bathroom with the deep spa bath was so nice. We slept very well. Complimentary buffet breakfast was a plus and very nice. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely a recommended place to stay when in Bendigo. "

"We stayed here for 1 night to go to a wedding, the staff were very helpful and friendly, reasonably priced room which was well set out and easily accessible, the room was very clean and if we are heading back that way we would definitely stay again. Highly recommend if you are looking to enjoy Bendigo 👍 "
"There are 7 of us in an Eightball team and we stay here once or twice a year for competitions at the venue across the road. This motel is one of the best we stay in, and we have stayed in many. Their customer service is brilliant and the rooms are super clean. We will be back 👍"
"Friendly staff to greet on arrival, clean spacious rooms, quiet location. Enjoyed my stay at Golden Reef Motor Inn and would certainly stay here again on future trips to Bendigo. Restaurant just across the road was good too."

"Had a pleasant one night stay here. It was economical; rooms are small but clean and well designed with an "arty" ambience. Comfortable for a couple with minimal luggage. Bathroom was clean and v functional. Only disappointment was the size of the balcony - it was literally a smoker's space with 2 metal stools - not suitable for anything ... but smoking. We had plans for a relax with a glass of wine and some nibbles - not possible. Property entry signage is poor - it is on hospital grounds and the main entrance makes no mention of the hotel. Would visit again."
"This accommodation is new & situated on the hospital grounds, when I was there it was a long weekend so it was busy busy busy.... there is an on-site restaurant with a limited menu and a wine/coffee bar. The rooms are small & tight but has everything you need - refer to my pics It was expensive for one night $279 considering I’m a silver plus Accor member & it was Bendigo not Melburne.... or I was stitched up as it was a long weekend.... I was in town for work not pleasure or else I wouldn’t of stayed. Happy travels "
"We were in an adjoining room, but each had a bathroom and balcony. Very comfortable for three adults. We liked the way a bar, area for breakfast and coffee serve wats combined. Books and pencils, games and jigsaws were welcoming, but we didn’t use, but an extra to keep children occupied."

"We stayed with our two young children in one of the family rooms and we were very impressed. The room was spacious with a separate room for the kids and very clean. Cleanest motel room we’ve stayed in. The staff went above and beyond making us feel like nothing we asked for was too much of an effort. The cooked breakfast was delicious, we definitely recommend the omelette. We will without a doubt be booking the Julianna Inn next time we visit Bendigo."
"Rooms are clean spacious and comfortable. Easy access to the street address and can park out front of the room, very convenient. Due to Covid I self catered this time but on previous visits the restaurant meals and breakfast have been good. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Generally it was quite although you can hear the train at times, didn't notice it at night though so it didn't affect a good nights sleep."
"Recently enjoyed a 2-night stay at the Julie-Anna Inn. We stayed in a family room. The room was a great size and was well appointed. We slept very soundly. The location is fantastic, being across the road from the lake with a lovely playground (Mum and Dad can even get a coffee and fresh donuts). The service was excellent! Will definitely stay here again."

"This motor inn is now called Lakeside, locating it the property by its name certainly was confusing. Despite paying for a lake view room with a balcony , I was booked in to an old box room overlooking a carpark and missing a balcony. The bathroom floor floods after each shower and the cold slippery floor tiles are definitely a hazard as the little square of bath mat isn’t adequate. This is the first time I am not assigned the type of room I have paid for through Trip. Perhaps I will think twice making the same booking again. "
"The car hotel is just suitable for self-driving parking. The back door goes directly to parking. Hygienic conditions are not complimented. The quilt didn't know why it wasn't clean, because it didn't sleep all night, and itchy all over. It was originally a small town with few people and could not go out at night."
"The location is really good, after dinner, go to the river or walk for a good workout. The nearby restaurant is also delicious, and there is a lake view to eat and watch, very good."

"My husband, son and I have just returned from a weekend in Bendigo. Having gone on a road trip across Australia over Xmas we have recently stayed in quite a few country motels and this was by far the best! First of all and most importantly it was sparkling clean, the room and the whole premises. Lovely presented motel, gardens and pool. Room looks recently renovated, beds comfortable, bathroom clean and spacious and a bench to put your luggage (so you are not tripping over it!). Air con works well. Owners very friendly and clearly take pride in the place, it shows. Great location, close to the Central Deborah mine and Hotel and supermarket across the road. Would definitely stay again and recommended."
"We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Heritage. The rooms were clean, beds perfectly made and bathroom shining, The owner Jen was very helpful by answering our queries prior to arrival regarding the bushfires and the smoke haze. Both Jen and her husband Darren were professional, friendly and worked hard to maintain the property and ensure the guests were well catered to. The free wifi and the fabulous pool was a huge bonus. Thank you Jen and Darren. We will be back the next time we are in Bendigo."
"On a girls weekend and Darren and Jen have been the best hosts you could ever ask for, nothing is too much trouble. Newly renovated rooms and comfortable beds. We have spent 2 days lounging around the beautiful pool area, great lounge chairs and lovely green grass. The grounds of the hotel are pristine, all in walking distance to pubs, bottle shops and supermarket. "
