Parking at Denver Downton is a difficult task, the hotel offers Valet, with an unlimited number of $50 per day. Valet service special gentleman, usually give a $10 tip for each car pick and Drop off (as generous as possible, you can't be rich, you can't be rich, others will remember you when you have a good impression). The hotel is close to zoos, museums, Union Station, rugby stadiums and more. Like quiet advice, call the hotel one or two days in advance and let the hotel give Assign a Non-Joining room.

Now if this was not the Ritz and just a regular 5* hotel, perhaps I'd give it 4* but this is the Ritz! The room was fine, the staff were fine, the fitness centre was fine but nothing (and no one) was exceptional. Okay, not nothing. The food I had during my conference there was incredible! It was better than any other meal I had outside in the city. Here's my main beef. On the website, it infers that there are complimentary steam rooms by the fitness center. However, when I inquired, I was told it was $70 for a day pass! Even when I showed the front desk the website wording, they still wouldn't let me use it for 30 min. (I'll add that at the Four Seasons the previous week, I was welcomed to use the spa's steam room on a daily basis for free). See attached for the before and after wording on the website and you'll see what I mean.

The location is excellent, it is very convenient in the city centre, shopping and eating around. Hotel facilities are new, very clean and upscale, the service is friendly, the phone is hot and so on.

Came here for Valentine’s Day. The check in staff was fleet friendly. They had put out little snacks and strawberry water for the occasion. The room was a very good size and big ledge at the window to enjoy the view. They also have chrome cast to the TV and the king bed was very comfortable.

Reviews From Real Travelers
I was in town for a conference and overall had a very good stay. I was there 6 nights They told me at check in that housekeeping was every 2 days. What I found out was that you have to ask at the desk the day before to have them come. I really just need trash pick up and fresh towels. When they did come they did a great job. I had a couple little routine things that needed fixing when I first arrived. The guy came the next morning and took Care of it all. My TV in the living room area volume didn’t work right It only came on very low and sort of out of the back of the TV. It was weird. I only ate breakfast once - I am not a breakfast person- but it was the usual spread as at other Residence Inns. The beds were new and very very comfortable. There are washers and dryers. The washer is $3 in quarters but the machine holds more than my home washer. The dryer I think was $1 for 30 minutes which was plenty of time. Everything was very clean The bad part is that the recent remodeling of the Hotels by Corporate are beautiful but not practical. Instead of all drawers in the clothes chests, there are 2 drawers and a large open area but the open area is colored dark inside. It is very easy to not see an item and leave things behind. Also, the new lights are in the wrong place. The overhead light at the bathroom sink is in the middle of the area half way between the closet and the sink. Whichever way you are looking, you cast a shadow on it because of the light. There are lights in the mirror for make up but they really shine in your eyes. In the kitchen, the light is again in the middle. You cast a shadow trying to do dishes or cook. The light under the microwave over the cooktop is very dim, not useful for anything but a dim nightlight. I had a large flashlight with me that I used to cook. I only go into such detail as the corporate folks need to know. Wish I would have had a trouble light to use for cooking. The cook top is one of the glass/ ceramic type and very difficult to control temp. I am accustomed to a gas stove so that make be part of it. I had an oven in my room which was terrific and allowed me to bake as well. The dishwasher is a little loud. You might want to run it while you are gone. I had a special rate that included parking, otherwise it is $42 per day. The parking has in and out privileges which is unusual for the area. What is nice is that the parking is part of the same building. The lobby is on the first floor then the next few levels are the parking garage floors then the room care above that. The door into the anteroom for the elevate requires a hotel key. The floors with rooms requires a key as well. There is a small bar on the first floor - the bartender was very friendly and kind. They have the usual assortment of high and moderate end liquors and beer and wine. The front desk people were really terrific- kind and helpful day and evening. There is a Trader Joe’s about a mile and a half away. Fairl

I recently got a chance to stay at the Residence Inn Denver City Center for five nights due to a conference at the Colorado Convention Center. I was a bit skeptical of staying here due to some recent reviews but decided to give it a try and make the best of out if. I was not disappointed and feel that it is definitely a decent, centrally located hotel in the Downtown Denver area. The hotel is only a nine-minute walk to the Colorado Convention Center. In addition, it is a three-to-four-minute walk to 16th street. In this street, you can find a wide variety of restaurants and shops. I decided to go to Target and get a lot of frozen foods, fruits, and drinks to sustain myself during this trip, instead of eating out most of the time and this store was within walking distance as well. Due to my Titanium Elite status, I was kindly upgraded to a one king corner bedroom suite. It was definitely worth it due to the view of the city, mountains and surrounding buildings. In addition, the room was extremely spacious, and it allowed me to work with no issues. The internet, kitchen, and bathroom were really efficient. In addition, the Tea Tree products were provided during my stay and are good quality. The bed is decent, but hopefully the pillows can be improved in the near future. Breakfast is included with your stay and felt that there were healthy options and variety each morning. People worked hard to keep the dining area clean and replenished as needed. I didn't take advantage of the gym or bar during the event, but it was definitely worth checking out. Finally, their business center provides access to two computers and a printer to assist with minor necessities from work. I would definitely recommend the Residence Inn Denver City Center to anyone who is coming for business purposes or looking for a long-term stay hotel. It is definitely worth having a kitchen and space needed to work and relax as well. Special thanks to Brad Leonard for his attention to detail and friendly customer service. Also, Norma at the front desk was really friendly and provided all the necessary details a guest needs to know when checking in. I will definitely make sure to come back!

The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the exhibition center. Everything is good except that there are no slippers and water. The view from the floor-to-ceiling windows is beautiful (the windows cannot be opened). The toilets and room types are good, and the service is also very good.

It’s a great hotel, the personnel is very kind and the breakfast is very good. Excellent location and great views, very clean and I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to Denver.

The location is excellent, down to the 5th floor through the rest area to the airport, is the first choice for early flights, and the hotel feels very clean, although close to the airport, but can not hear the sound of the aircraft. Hotel management practices, no security concerns.

Very expensive, very nice and worth it. The hotel walks downstairs through the corridor to the airport. The rooms are spacious and soundproof. The light rail downstairs can reach the city center.
