Had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Vientiane by IHG. The hotel is clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and the breakfast had a great variety of choices. The swimming pool and gym facilities were also well maintained. Location is convenient and peaceful, perfect for both business and leisure trips. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Vientiane. Will definitely stay again!

I have used this hotel. It's a little far from the center, but there are electric bike rentals. It is close to the Thai Embassy. There are many local restaurants in the area. Everything seems old. It's not properly maintained, the wifi and air-conditioning is bad in some rooms. I stayed here for five days. I changed to a different type of room to try out, even some of the most expensive rooms they have are not properly maintained, I have to change rooms a few times to get the good wifi and air-conditioning room.

Stayed at Ibis Vientiane and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is located right in the heart of town, making it very convenient to explore nearby restaurants, cafes, and attractions. The room was relatively spacious compared to many budget hotels, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing for a good night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and provided good service throughout the stay. Areas for Improvement: The hotel seems to prioritize energy conservation, but the lighting in both the room and common areas is quite dim. At times, it felt a little uncomfortable, especially during the evening. Another issue was the wall power outlets, which were rather loose and flimsy. They could not properly support my heavy-duty travel adapter, so I had to improvise by using a bottle to hold it in place while charging. Slippers are not provided in the room by default and need to be requested separately. While the staff were helpful, having to contact reception and collect them added a bit of inconvenience. Overall: A comfortable and well-located hotel with good service and decent room size. With brighter lighting and improved power outlets, the stay would be even better. 4/5 stars.

Overall the hotel is okay, but the air conditioning in my room was not cool at all. I turned it on at 16°C from 6pm until 10pm and it was still not cool. I called the reception several times and they didn't answer. I had to go down and ask them to come and look. When the staff came up to look, they said they would change the room for me, which was very late and I didn't want to waste time packing my bags and moving rooms, so I didn't change rooms. However, I think that a hotel of this level should check the readiness of the room before letting customers stay. The Wi-Fi is also quite slow. Personally, I am not very impressed with the price I paid.

When I booked, the platform stated the room would have a window, but I was assigned a room without one. I spoke to the front desk, and the room they moved me to still didn't have a window. However, on the third try, they finally moved me to a room with a window. The front desk staff's service attitude was good, and they even recommended some great restaurants. There were quite a few Western guests at the hotel. For the price and the environment, it's pretty decent, offering great value for money. Although the hotel breakfast had limited options, they did have freshly made fried eggs, which was a plus.

That Luang was within walking distance. The restaurant was right in front of the hotel, so it was fine even when it was raining. The mall and convenience store were a little far away, so walking would be difficult. The hotel was excellent, with a bathtub. There were also two showers, so you could fill the bathtub with water while showering. The staff were very kind. Daily cleaning was thorough, so I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was included, but I had to pay for dinner at the restaurant. It was high quality and delicious. I had a wonderful time.

I recently stayed at Souphattra Hotel in Vientiane during the Songkran festival for my birthday, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is newly opened and the property feels fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Its central location makes it very convenient for getting around the city. The rooms are of a decent size and come well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making the stay comfortable. The breakfast spread was decent, while not very extensive, it was sufficient and satisfying. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the pool area, which is well done and enjoyable. I also particularly liked the rooftop bar; it has a great vibe and was a nice place to unwind. The staff deserve special mention, they were well-trained, professional, and attentive throughout the stay. The only slight disappointment was regarding my birthday. I had informed the hotel in advance via email that I would be celebrating it during my stay. While I understand not all hotels go out of their way for such occasions, many properties usually acknowledge it in some small way, so I did feel it was missed here. That said, everything else was top-notch, and I would still recommend the hotel for a comfortable and well-located stay in Vientiane.

All the attractions are within walking distance, and the popular shopping spots are also nearby, with the furthest being about a 10-minute walk. The hotel is within walking distance of the night market and many of the city’s main attractions. The rooms and overall property are very well curated, fully in line with a boutique hotel experience. Nice facilities, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and excellent showers. The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive. The rooftop bar is also a highlight, with live music and a fantastic view over the river. The only negative note was regarding my advanced reservation for a higher-floor Deluxe River View room. As this was a special occasion, I had even called a couple of days prior to confirm availability and specifically requested a room on the 3rd or 4th floor. However, despite arriving at the earliest check-in time, I was informed that all rooms of that category on the higher floors had already been assigned and were no longer available.

The breakfast starting at 6:30 AM also gives me enough time to catch my domestic flight from the airport. I'll definitely keep staying here in the future. My friend said the hotel location was good and the price was reasonable, so he told me to book the cheapest option. I chose a windowless room and it turned out to be quite nice. The window was in the bathroom, which had both a shower and a bathtub. It looked pretty clean. Laos seems to have a lot of wood, and the wooden non-slip mat in the shower was creative. I wanted to leave a good review for this hotel, thumbs up! 👍

The reason we choose this hotel was it was closer to train station and offered free drop off service. The hotel is located at outskirts of Vientiane and so it took some time to get there. The breakfast had mostly Chinese food. The swimming pool and area around the hotel was nice, especially at the evening after hot day. The reception person didn’t speak English but with the English-Chinese translation app, there was no problem of communicating. There was a strange smell so the reception called the repair man who has cleaned the airconditioner dust and it cleared the air.

This hotel met my expectations and then some! First off, even though the staff were Lao, they all spoke Mandarin, so communication was a breeze. Secondly, the room offered fantastic views of the surroundings, and the facilities and decor were on par with a five-star hotel back home. This was definitely a highlight. The only minor downsides were that the bathroom felt a bit off-putting, and the air conditioning filters could use a more thorough cleaning. Other than that, the experience was excellent. Then there's the airport pick-up service – the driver arrived almost an hour earlier than I expected, which meant I could get straight into the car upon exiting the station. I arrived at the hotel super early and was able to check in. My flight landed at 9 AM, and I was checked in by just after 10 AM, which was incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were also great; their Mandarin recommendations for local restaurants were all fantastic. However, there was a slight hiccup regarding transportation to the train station. One staff member told me there were no direct public buses from the city center to the high-speed rail station, suggesting a taxi or the hotel's shuttle service for about $10. The price was tempting and comparable to a taxi, offering great flexibility, so I'd still recommend it. But I found their explanation confusing because I had read on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) that there were indeed shuttle buses from the city. Another staff member was more straightforward, saying there should be a bus but admitted he'd never been to the high-speed rail station himself and suggested a taxi might be a better option. Overall, the minor issues don't overshadow the positives. I highly recommend this hotel!

We chose a hotel closer to the train station. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere (only the main building is complete). Not a single driver knows where the hotel is. The free train station pickup service is not available. It's impossible to contact the hotel directly or through the booking form. The choice of a 5-star hotel was also limited by the restaurant, as the only thing near the hotel is a traffic light at an intersection. The restaurant is closed in the evenings, even though it's open until 9:00 PM. There's no storage space. The rooms don't yet have refrigerators. Otherwise, everything is great. Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds. .

I stayed for two nights. I arrived at nearly 2 AM on the first night, and I had already emailed the hotel in advance to book an airport pickup. I think it was really worth it, and more importantly, it gave me peace of mind. The hotel is beautiful, and I believe every room has a balcony. Sitting on the balcony in the morning listening to the birds chirp was very pleasant. The entire hotel is quite picturesque and great for taking photos. The room facilities and amenities were complete. It's also not far to walk to the night market from the hotel. Plus, there's a Mixue Ice Cream & Tea and a Chaoshan hotpot restaurant nearby. For breakfast, I chose different local specialties on both days.

This hotel is located in Sanjiang China Town, and it's one of the more impressive ones in the area. With a large supermarket and Chinese restaurants nearby, the location is quite convenient. The rooms are spacious and new, with amenities comparable to a five-star hotel back home. The service is also excellent, with very prompt responses. They even offer free airport transfers. Breakfast on the second day was decent, with freshly cooked dumplings, rice noodles, and regular noodles available. The only awkward part is that the hotel is situated in a small alleyway filled with adult entertainment establishments. I was traveling with my parents, and thankfully, they thought they were legitimate beauty salons, barbershops, and massage parlors. Otherwise, that would have been quite a scene, phew!

We had a wonderful stay at Eastin Hotel as a family. The hotel was comfortable, family-friendly, and offered excellent service throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the amazing breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. Our room was spacious, clean, and provided plenty of space for our family to relax. The location was convenient, and we especially appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to the night market and the Nam Phu area. The hotel also offers airport transfers, making travel arrangements very easy. Another feature we found extremely useful was the hotel’s app, which allowed us to conveniently book transfers, order room service, and access other hotel services. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay at Eastin Hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended! 😊

This hotel is great for location and value for you money. We stayed here more than 3 weeks and enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful and spoke English. The room is small. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has soap and shampoo and hot water is good. The free breakfast is okay, but you can purchase a full breakfast if you wish. The laundry service is reasonable. You can also buy bus tickets here too. Everything is in walking distance, food night market, Amazon café, Mini C supermarket, restaurants and ATMs. I highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely stay here again when in Laos 🇱🇦

**Excellent value, great location and impressive facilities** Overall, this hotel offers very strong value for money and was one of the most convenient places I stayed in Vientiane. The location is excellent. The hotel is in a very practical central area, with two large shopping complexes nearby and the morning market on the other side. Everything you may need is easy to access: shops, food, basic services and deliveries. For a European traveller, the location is especially convenient, and it would be difficult to find a much better area for this price. The facilities were also a pleasant surprise. The gym is spacious, air-conditioned and equipped with modern machines. Next to it, there is a large outdoor swimming pool with enough space for both adults and children, as well as sun loungers around the pool area. There is also a sauna. It felt a bit worn and could have been hotter, but I still enjoyed using it after the gym. I stayed on the 13th floor and the view was one of the highlights of the stay. From one side, there was a beautiful view of the Mekong River and nearby temples, and from the other side, a view toward Patuxai. Breakfast was included in the room rate, which added to the overall value. There are a few areas that could be improved. The rooms did not have convenient international or European-style power sockets, so I had to buy an adapter. Also, not all elevators were working at times, which sometimes caused long waiting times. English communication at the reception was limited, which may be inconvenient for international guests. Despite these issues, I think the hotel is excellent for its price. With its location, gym, pool, views and included breakfast, it is a very strong option in Vientiane and I would recommend it.
