The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. What I appreciated most was the comprehensive range of power outlets; in addition to Swiss standard sockets, there were also European standard ones. Crucially, the Swiss outlets weren't the recessed type, which made it incredibly easy to use various plugs and adapters (as shown in image 9). An electric kettle was also provided in the room.
While the hotel's location is a bit further from the train station, Old Town, and lakeside attractions, public transport connections are extremely convenient. Tram line 3 provides direct access between the hotel and the train station (the tram stop is about a 7-8 minute walk to the left after exiting the hotel). Tram line 2 takes you to the Old Town, Bahnhofstrasse, Lake Zurich, and other sights (this tram stop is within a 3-4 minute walk to the right after exiting the hotel, see images 7 & 8).
The hotel breakfast was quite good, offering a rich and delicious selection.
Upon check-in, a credit card pre-authorization for a security deposit of CHF 150 per room was required. The city tax was CHF 3.5 per person per night.FromJOD 119

There are supermarkets and various transport stops nearby, and a morning walk along Lake Zurich is incredibly relaxing and unforgettable. The hotel is very close to Zurich Main Station, just a 3-minute walk away. The exterior is quite nice, and it even has a Swiss flag.
Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained. The decor in the hallways is quite stylish.
Hygiene: Overall, the cleanliness was pretty good.
Environment: The train station is just a short walk across the street. There's a McDonald's nearby for breakfast and a Coop supermarket also very close.

The room was a bit small, but! The transportation was incredibly convenient. There's a bus stop right outside, and it's just a short walk to ETH Zurich, literally across the street. The hotel is also near the train station, just one bus stop away. The guy at the front desk was super nice! We loved our stay at the hotel wellenberg during our recent trip to Zurich, it was perfectly situated and a lovely spacious family room. The bathroom could use an update, which I’m sure is in the works, as one that I spotted by the elevator looked stunning! Our kids especially loved the family tv/gaming room and special mention must be made of the lovely front desk staff and Ruth at breakfast who was absolutely charming. Excellent value for money. The light rail station is conveniently located nearby, just a three-minute shortcut walk away, and Line 4 offers easy access to many attractions in the city center. While the modern decor appeals to younger guests, it might not be ideal for the elderly or young children. In both rooms, guests were unfortunately bumped by the protruding bed corners, and the sharp edges of the mini-fridge cabinet door when opened are quite hazardous. The hotel is great, just opposite the Zurich train station. This time I traveled with my mother and daughter. According to the reservation, they took the initiative to add a bed for my 11-year-old daughter. Fruits were free, and there were free chocolates. But I didn't notice that the canned chocolate beans in the minibar were not free, so I ate them anyway. So, it's okay. The service is very good and considerate. Very solid “3 star” hotel located in a very central location.
Hotel Adler is “3 stars” but everything considered, as good as if not better than other 4 star hotels in European capitals.
The location is in a cute location in old town by Central station and the University of Zurich. Very easy to get to and from airport from here and is a very nice location to walk around and explore Zurich from.
Room itself was kind of small but was clean and comfortable.
What’s great is also the restaurant Swiss Chuchi at the bottom of the hotel. It serves the breakfast if included (which was pretty good. Standard pastries/bread as well as cold cuts, eggs, fruits, etc.) and highly recommend visiting for actual restaurant meal service which includes the famous fondue.FromJOD 154

Breakfast was very delicious and comfortable, and there are a lot of choices. Fine for a business traveler. For couples...eh. Walls are pretty thin as stated. The ”lounge” is just a room on the 9th floor with a TV and some games. There's no deadbolt on the door. That being said, the sunrise corner room gets unbeatable views!

Getting to the hotel from the train station is super convenient with tram line 4; it stops right outside, runs frequently, and the journey only takes about ten minutes. Our triple room came with bunk beds and was quite compact, but perfectly functional. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A slight downside was not being able to boil water in the room, but there's a kettle available in the ground-floor restaurant for hot water. Although this hotel belongs to a hotel chain, our stay was perfect. The situation is very close to the Bahnhofstrasse (near to the LV store). This place is really great! Both the lobby and the hostel environment feel high-end. The breakfast is also very generous, offering self-serve coffee, bread, fruits, cold cuts, and yogurt. The front desk staff are humorous and fun, and you can borrow a hairdryer (you need to leave your passport as a deposit, with no time limit for return). The accommodation itself is decent, but you do need to put on your own bed sheets and pillowcases, and return them to the front desk after checking out the next day. The communal showers are large and clean, but toiletries aren't provided, so you'll need to bring your own shower gel, shampoo, etc. Breakfast starts at 6:00 AM, and the service is excellent. It costs 7CHF to reach Hotel Krone Unterstrass from Zürich airport. Take the train from the airport to the Zürich Oerlikon station then switch to tram#11 and alight at ‘Kronenstrasse’ stop. Hotel is just next to the tram stop. The neighbourhood is very quiet once dusk falls. You’ll soon discover that 3 stops more of tram#11 and you’ll be at the Zürich main station (Zürich HB) which is the city centre. The room has manual-controlled ac compressor (thank god) even if it’s fairly cool without it (~14 deg C outside at end-Sep). There’s no mini bar fridge and they provide a petite metal kettle. The whole point of my review is to commend Laura Mannino (spelling), the first point of contact when you visit the daily breakfast buffet. With her ready smile & winning demeanour, she’s an asset to every hospitality business. My 5th floor room has a newish feel to it & I really have no complaints. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just over 200 meters from Zurich Main Station. Turn right out of the hotel, and you're directly on Bahnhofstrasse, with all Old Town attractions easily accessible on foot. If you're planning a visit to ETH Zurich, simply turn left out of the hotel, cross the bridge, navigate to the Polybahn, and it's a quick 5-minute walk to catch the red funicular uphill.
We booked for two nights. A nice perk: if you opt out of daily housekeeping service for your second day, you can redeem a complimentary drink from the downstairs bar, one per person.
Our room was clean and tidy. The 'Wow' room type offered decent space, allowing us to comfortably open two large suitcases.FromJOD 151

The hotel is really nice and a perfect start to my Swiss solo. It is very suitable for friends who have high requirements for quality travel and have high requirements for hotels. The basic room type of the hotel is not very large, more than 30 square meters, but the hardware facilities inside are very good, and the service is also excellent. Really good modern hotel with spacious rooms. I recommend for the people that decide for this hotel to arrive by car, as it is a bit more remote, the valet parking takes care of the rest. Hotel is good, convenient to access by Tram, One disappointment was the cleaning lady opened the door even though we are inside the room resting. I don’t know how they can do it.
