Travelodge London Vauxhall

My brand new charger have been stolen, I only took my filing bag to get a visa, there's no chance I lost it. Every time I go to the front desk, I will be hung there for a long time before I solve the problem. There's no water, no shower gel, no shampoo, no hairdryer, and the paid Wi-Fi keeps going out. There was also a loud machine noise coming from nowhere in the room. And the duvet sheets have small yellow spot on it.

Nice location, with a bus stop and metro very close by. The room was nice, with decent bathroom. The bed was squeaking very bad, it made it hard for us to fall asleep. The breakfast was very basic, with not much to choose from besides English breakfast.

Clean and tidy and so close to the train station (literally 30 seconds). Hotel looks like it has been done up, staff were friendly and when asked about a hair dryer popped to get us one. Breakfast looked good, array of hot and cold options, I didn’t eat was fairly hungover. Bar prices were not eye watering either, so all in all a convenient place to stay in the heart of Vauxhall. Would gladly stay here again.

Was in shock to find no hair dryer in the room. I only noticed this getting out of the shower and it filled me with dread before a big conference that was imminent. Thankfully was travelling with a colleague in another room who packed one. I didn’t think that was a thing. I have never stayed in with no hair dryer. Small room but fine for single travellers- would have been too much had my husband shared the double room with me. Tiny bathroom. Super central from the tube it’s right beside it Lovely helpful staff on reception and breakfast Good breakfast although cups didn’t look super clean so couldn’t try the coffee Really close to good places to eat and pick up essentials for the room A lot of homeless people meeting you at the doors looking money/ cigarettes etc I think the bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in Really noisy heating/air system. Like other reviewers though on floor five outside transport didn’t cause me any noise issues Handprints on the window a bit off. Not sure what precious guests had been doing at the windows. Staff were lovely letting us store and collect baggage later I think if I had of had been given a hair dryer I wouldn’t have pointed out any other negatives and this is such an easy way and affordable way for the hotel to increase guest satisfaction That and their horrible hand soap/ shampoo?

Broken aircon. Broken lights. Broken extractor. Broken toilet. Broken sewer. Broken staff training. Broken check in procedure. A carpet of cigarette butt's to welcome you at the entrance. Really awful place
