Super 8 by Wyndham 100 Mile House

Decided fairly late that we were going to stay in 100 mile, so chose the super 8 for its location and best price over others in the area. The lady who checked us in was friendly even though it was after 11 when we arrived. Great room, clean, comfy beds, good water pressure. Only complaint is the room was freezing when we got there so we cranked the heat and went to sleep lol, so ya woke up in the night in a sauna. Sort of our own dault for sure, but would be nice to have the heat on a bit before we arrived.

This is a small two-story Super 8, set up motel-style (access to the rooms is from outside). The hotel is ok. It has reasonably sized rooms and a basic, serve-yourself breakfast area with things like cereal, yogurt, bananas, and toast. Our room was clean. The front desk staff were pleasant. However, the room floor was very cold (ground floor room in February). The towels were thin and so were the walls. The bed was kind of soft/lumpy. There was no privacy sheer under the drapes, so opening them for light meant people walking by the window could see in. In short, clean, but just ok.

Easy to get to, easy check in, but the room does get a little hot even with the heat setting all the way down on the wall mounted heater/AC so it was almost easier to keep the heat off than it was to cook and be hot. Unfortunately had a 5AM call from an attempted scammer from someone somewhere in the world making rounds through the hotel room phones uttering threats and pretending to be the lobby clerk trying to get credit card numbers out of people and people coming down to the lobby wondering what was going on. Not the hotels fault or anyones fault but hopefully people are alert of these scams. Poor lobby clerk was probably stressed dealing with the plurry of angry people coming down to the lobby thinking he was threatening them for an apparent declined payment. Overall if we stay in 100 mile during travels we would stay here again.

Loved the beds, duvet, pillows, nice room, also nice to have decent toiletries provided. Also reasonable. Will definitely stay here again.

Liked the room it was very nice. The king size bed was great and very comfortable. The room was nice and clean.

Other guests were obviously allowed to party excessively loud in several rooms! Could hardly sleep! Who is responsible to enforce quiet time policy???

They have modern clean rooms and a good bed. Noise from other suites and the nearby highway prevent having much sleep.

Room was clean front staff friendly. The only 2 things that I did not like were , the soap in the room was impossible to get it to lather which is why I usually have my own. The other was that while packing up I was listening to 2 cleaning staff in a room working and I have never heard the “F” word used by 2 women so much. There was an elderly couple headed upstairs to their room and by the look on both their faces you could see it bothered them. I talked to the front staff and was promised a voucher but we shall see.

Excellent customer service. Clean rooms and comfortable bed.
