Best Hotels in Joplin

Room was clean and toilet/tub room larger than other Quality's. Ice maker broken (clerk said for 3 days). Able to get ice at the Comfort Inn (shared parking lot). Only 1 luggage rack. Place is big enough to have at least 2. Although there were many kids staying for an athletic tournament, our room, 320 was at end of hall and quiet. Noisy and crowed in the lobby area with the kids. Kids were all well well mannered but as a senior, I don't like to have that many around me as I try to get out the door. Breakfast area cramped. even without the kids.

At 1 am, the front desk staff was very polite and the room was clean! The breakfast is a bit simple, but the overall is not bad, a successful business trip!

Not sure what other reviewers were talking about because we had a good experience here. Very clean and updated room. Pool was very nice. The water was warm and felt like bath water. My only complaint is the breakfast wasn’t that good because of Covid regulations and I heard people walking around 5AM. Other than that no real complaints. There is a larger lot out back for large vehicles with trailers.

I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised by the hotel room. It was totally clean, in perfect condition, and recently remodeled in a very attractive modern style. The staff at check in and check out were pleasant and professional. The only minor negatives were: exterior entrances, no elevator, smallish room, and a skimpy breakfast. These are all minor issue and the important thing is the room was very clean and in perfect condition. I would gladly stay here again.

This hotel would receive a 5/5 but it is a bit noisey. The staff are excellent. The room was outstanding except for some of the chairs were frayed. The breakfast was great and loved the soda machine. Checkout was easy. We had a room with a patio door that gave us easy access to our car when loading and unloading. If it weren't for the thin walls and road noise, this would be a perfect hotel. I wish that I could have given it a 4.5 rating. GREAT JOB! Will definitely stay there again on our way from Texas to Indiana.

We had never used a Home2Suites before (we normally use Hampton Inss) but with three grandchildren traveling in our company, we decided to try this. The suite was a nice size, with two queen beds and a couch that made into a bed. The place seemed clean, and everything worked well. Even though this location is ”pet-friendly” (which can be unfriendly to those who don't like to live with pets) we did not really encounter any pets during our stay. The only slight downsize was the rather odd breakfast offerings. Rather than any eggs, bacon, or related items, there was some kind of what seemed to be processed chicken on a biscuit. I did not quite understand that, but it was not something that would stop us from using this location again.
