Very good, nice sized hotel. Excellent pool area with heated outside pool. Great to have direct access to the private beach. All the staff were really helpful and friendly but particularly Binot on the concierge desk. Disappointing that the main Jing restaurant does not offer its full range of international food or its oriental buffet during Ramadan. Yas Shuttle bus is really useful but be warned of unscheduled hour long breaks (usually 6pm/7pm ish during Ramadan. Overall a good experience and we would come back.

We have been to many hotels in Abu Dhabi and I must say that Marriott Downtown is byfar our favorite and have been going there everytime we go to Abu Dhabi now. They have great food, attentive and curtious staff. From the housekeeping to the restaurants and to the Lounge! Miss George, Osama, Michelle, Christian, too bad I cannot name everyone here! Can't wait to go back:-)

Ms. Rihab at the reception is absolutely marvelous, beautiful smile and impeccable service, provided a beautiful room and Mr. Mohammad Salam the luggage attendant was very courteous and helpful, he was very knowledgeable about the city and also gave recommendations on the best areas of the hotel for the F & B. This is by far the best budget hotel me and my girlfriend has stayed. For 4 days we stayed here everything was perfect, the fact that we dont have to ask them to clean the room is the best thing. We go out in the morning and when we come back at night the room is clean as it was when we checked-in. Our belongings were untouched but everything else was renewed without us requesting or them asking if we wanted to clean the room. The only thing this hotel needs to update or upgrade is the T.V, i consider this a 5 star budget hotel so the T.V need to be a bit more modern or latest. The room is big and the whole hotel was covered by carpet on the floor including our room and the corridor to the rooms. The area this hotel is located is perfect because everything you need is just 5 mins walk away from the hotel, bars restaurants, cheap shopping centers and malls also. All the staffs were very friendly and polite. 5 star customer service. Especially our check-in agent and receptionist Saajid gave us the best customer service. Thank you Saajid and the guy who cleans (couldnt ask his name) the rooms. For you this is the place i will choose again if i visit Abu Dhabi again. Best wishes to the hotel and Saajid and the cleaner (sorry we couldn’t ask him ask his name) and kind regards to all the staff. 💪❤️

Terrible service, not friendly staff. The staff from Housekeeping were annoying, on the very first day of check-in, they asked me to write and leave a 5* review on Google, after they refused to immediately leave a review, the staff stopped responding to requests. I have never encountered worse service anywhere. And the hotel is very old, but one can say cozy, except for some shortcomings in the bathroom: water flows from the tap, the plumbing is wobbly, and everything else is very old.

I was honestly very impressed by the hotel overall. For this price and for the service, it doesn't deserve anything than full marks. There are many shops/fast food chains within a few minutes walking distance. Taxis found it generally easy to find. There is a big mall just around the corner. Corniche/beach is a short taxi ride away. The room we booked was surprisingly big. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The service was superb. They allowed early check in and early check out with ease. They attended to all our needs. The gym was nice and the pool was relatively small but clean and with a friendly life guard. I would most definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

Happy with my stay. The room was clean, sizable and catered to all my needs. Check-in, which for me was at 3am was efficient, calm and professional. Most importantly, I opted for this hotel given that the departure bus stop for the airport is next to the entrance - a 1 minute walk, and the arrival bus stop is also only a 4-5 minute walk. Very convenient indeed. I would return 👍

Hotel location is OK, the surrounding shops are more and more lively. The hotel is a bit old and it is estimated to be many years old. There is a door in my room that leads to the next room. It feels very unsafe. I can hear it in the next room, especially in this position. If it is night, it is not convenient for friends to come over, the front desk will ask.

Very good hotel! Room: spacious, comfortable bed, clean linen. Yes, the equipment is not new, but everything is working, there is a washing machine, clothes dryer, microwave, kettle. There is a supermarket nearby with a very large selection, you can buy groceries and cook. There is an excellent beach not far from the hotel, a wide coastline, clean water, few people. You can get anywhere from the hotel by bus. The hotel has a gym, we visited it in the evenings. We stayed in this hotel for 4 days, then headed to Dubai. I really regretted that we had planned more days in Dubai, it would have been better in this place, and a couple of days in Dubai.

The hotel enjoys a strategic location, which is one of its strongest assets, and the staff were consistently courteous and welcoming. However, the rooms left much to be desired. They were spacious and clean but lacked modern amenities—a noticeable shortcoming was the dated furniture and the small, old TV sets. This may not be an issue for someone staying a night or two, but for an extended stay aimed at relaxation, the setup is less than ideal. The breakfast offering was another area where the hotel could improve. The quality of food was below average, not what one would expect from a 4-star establishment. In summary, this hotel is better suited for travelers on a budget who plan short stays and prioritize location and basic cleanliness over modern comforts and a quality dining experience.

OK so it's COLD outside, it's around 15-20 degrees every night, and every room does have its own ac unit, YET, THEY INSIST ON KEEPING THE AC IN THE HALLWAYS ON. And they don't just keep it on, they keep it FREEZING, which in turn obviously makes the ROOMS FREEZING. I tried asking nicely MANY TIMES, Heck the last time I even BEGGED them to turn it down but they refused...? I mean, what is even the logic here? The AC exists to regulate the temperature when it's hot, why would you crank it up ALL THE WAY when it's COLD OUTSIDE?! Was there ANY thought process involved here? And why would you refuse to turn it down?!?! ITS ALREADY COLD OUTSIDE. Ofcourse, they made me sick from my first day and I didn't get better until I went back home to dubai and slept a night in a room that wasn't freezing. When I say the room was freezing I'm not exaggerating at all, it was FREEZING.
