Very good, nice sized hotel. Excellent pool area with heated outside pool. Great to have direct access to the private beach. All the staff were really helpful and friendly but particularly Binot on the concierge desk. Disappointing that the main Jing restaurant does not offer its full range of international food or its oriental buffet during Ramadan. Yas Shuttle bus is really useful but be warned of unscheduled hour long breaks (usually 6pm/7pm ish during Ramadan. Overall a good experience and we would come back.

Ms. Rihab at the reception is absolutely marvelous, beautiful smile and impeccable service, provided a beautiful room and Mr. Mohammad Salam the luggage attendant was very courteous and helpful, he was very knowledgeable about the city and also gave recommendations on the best areas of the hotel for the F & B. As expected of the Marriott group, classy venue and first class staff!! Cheers!

We have been to many hotels in Abu Dhabi and I must say that Marriott Downtown is byfar our favorite and have been going there everytime we go to Abu Dhabi now. They have great food, attentive and curtious staff. From the housekeeping to the restaurants and to the Lounge! Miss George, Osama, Michelle, Christian, too bad I cannot name everyone here! Can't wait to go back:-)

Everything was great! We also had a good rest at the hotel on the roof in the pool, where caring excellent staff, especially the cool Ishan Anuradha, helped both in the gym and in the pool, and gave disposable tableware, generally a great person! Всё было привосходно! Хорошо отдохнули и в отеле на крыше в бассейне, там заботливый отличный персонал особенно классный Ishan Anuradha он и в тренажёрном зале помог, и в бассейне, и дал одноразовую посуду, вообще отличный парень!

This is by far the best budget hotel me and my girlfriend has stayed. For 4 days we stayed here everything was perfect, the fact that we dont have to ask them to clean the room is the best thing. We go out in the morning and when we come back at night the room is clean as it was when we checked-in. Our belongings were untouched but everything else was renewed without us requesting or them asking if we wanted to clean the room. The only thing this hotel needs to update or upgrade is the T.V, i consider this a 5 star budget hotel so the T.V need to be a bit more modern or latest. The room is big and the whole hotel was covered by carpet on the floor including our room and the corridor to the rooms. The area this hotel is located is perfect because everything you need is just 5 mins walk away from the hotel, bars restaurants, cheap shopping centers and malls also. All the staffs were very friendly and polite. 5 star customer service. Especially our check-in agent and receptionist Saajid gave us the best customer service. Thank you Saajid and the guy who cleans (couldnt ask his name) the rooms. For you this is the place i will choose again if i visit Abu Dhabi again. Best wishes to the hotel and Saajid and the cleaner (sorry we couldn’t ask him ask his name) and kind regards to all the staff. 💪❤️

My recent 8-night stay at City Seasons Al Hamra Hotel was superb. The hotel's prime downtown location made exploring Abu Dhabi effortless and within 300m of the hotel, you will be spoilt for choice for cafes, convenience stores, restaurants, laundy stores and etc. For an older hotel, cleanliness was impeccable, reflecting the staff's dedication. Service was outstanding, from the welcoming reception to the attentive restaurant staff. The highlight was the superb breakfast, offering a variety of delicious dishes with slight tweaks each day for added variety. Overall, City Seasons Al Hamra Hotel offers a comfortable experience. Highly recommended for its superb location, cleanliness, outstanding service, and delicious breakfast offerings.

Happy with my stay. The room was clean, sizable and catered to all my needs. Check-in, which for me was at 3am was efficient, calm and professional. Most importantly, I opted for this hotel given that the departure bus stop for the airport is next to the entrance - a 1 minute walk, and the arrival bus stop is also only a 4-5 minute walk. Very convenient indeed. I would return 👍

Very good hotel! Room: spacious, comfortable bed, clean linen. Yes, the equipment is not new, but everything is working, there is a washing machine, clothes dryer, microwave, kettle. There is a supermarket nearby with a very large selection, you can buy groceries and cook. There is an excellent beach not far from the hotel, a wide coastline, clean water, few people. You can get anywhere from the hotel by bus. The hotel has a gym, we visited it in the evenings. We stayed in this hotel for 4 days, then headed to Dubai. I really regretted that we had planned more days in Dubai, it would have been better in this place, and a couple of days in Dubai.

It feels very unsafe. I can hear it in the next room, especially in this position. If it is night, it is not convenient for friends to come over, the front desk will ask.

Approximately 30 minutes away from Abu Dhabi airport, Copthorne Downton is perfectly placed for all your needs. Shopping mall, Ferrari World, Yas marina are all 19 minutes away by car. Room was spacious and very homely. Ladies at reception are real strength, dealing with no matter how big a problem with speed and efficiency. The concierge was very helpful and courteous. All the staff were eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible I will definitely come back as I felt genuinely welcomed.

OK so it's COLD outside, it's around 15-20 degrees every night, and every room does have its own ac unit, YET, THEY INSIST ON KEEPING THE AC IN THE HALLWAYS ON. And they don't just keep it on, they keep it FREEZING, which in turn obviously makes the ROOMS FREEZING. I tried asking nicely MANY TIMES, Heck the last time I even BEGGED them to turn it down but they refused...? I mean, what is even the logic here? The AC exists to regulate the temperature when it's hot, why would you crank it up ALL THE WAY when it's COLD OUTSIDE?! Was there ANY thought process involved here? And why would you refuse to turn it down?!?! ITS ALREADY COLD OUTSIDE. Ofcourse, they made me sick from my first day and I didn't get better until I went back home to dubai and slept a night in a room that wasn't freezing. When I say the room was freezing I'm not exaggerating at all, it was FREEZING.
