We stayed for a week at the end of the season and, first impressions were great! Beautiful location, view of the lake, spacious room, friendly staff and great pool! However, some activities were suspended, which was disappointing, as they ended 2 days before we arrived. The restaurant was large and mainly full every night with a menu for you to complete for the following day. Great except for the vegetarian option! It was the same EVERY DAY! If it was tasty, it may have been worth it but, on my first attempt it was luke warm, bland and very dry - a timbale of chick peas! When I mentioned this to the waiter, he said it was meant to be warm, however, other guests noted theirs was hot. We mentioned this to reception staff and they advised they would inform the kitchen but to no avail. Otherwise, the restaurant and menus were well-organised but with limited choice of meals. Even more-so if you're vegetarian, no chance at all if vegan! Food at the snack bar is poor. There is a shuttle bus to and from Garda town, which takes 5 mins and is due to operate every half hour but, at least on two occasions, it was half an hour late and waiting around in the heat is unpleasant but, as there are only 8 seats on the bus, you can't afford to find shade, as miss your place in the queue. The buses stop at 7.30pm which restricts your opportunity to go into town, and taxis are scarce, so a long walk back if you can't get one. Overall, it's a good hotel but once in at night, you're in and, when we stayed, there's little entertainment.
