Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alpharetta - Windward Parkway

First room I was scheduled in hadn’t been serviced by housekeeping. Room key stopped working on multiple occasions. Front door access stopped when the sun went down.

Bathroom in need of a lot of updating. Weird stain in the tub as well. Staff was really sweet though. Not sure why trash wasn’t changed while I was away for 12 hours of the day. It was ok. Just hated the bathroom

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, but older. The breakfast was good with plenty items, variety and tasty food. I was there 3 days. On the 3rd breakfast, they had “real” bacon and it was delicious! Bacon like I have at home, cooked crispy, drained of grease and plenty was available.

Staff at front desk was very nice. The morning breakfast lady was incredibly nice and friendly and waited on my family like we where her own

When we checked in the lady was nice she gave us a room and we went upstairs. When I opened the door and I immediately realized that the beds were not made and I looked down and saw luggage. We quickly shut the door and headed down stairs to let her know she gave us an occupied room. She was shocked (which I understand) but stated she did not know how that was possible. She seemed upset but I believe that was more her shock. We get the second room, yes we opened the door very slowly, and it was empty. I did my normal bed checks and noticed one the beds had metal sticking out of the top but it was not going to effect sleeping. The pull out sofa was also old and my son opted to sleep just on the couch. My husband also noticed candy wrapper and trash around the couch. The bathroom tub was stained so it looked like there was brown crap in the tub. The rug was also worn out and coming apart at the bathroom transition. The sink was in the room and the toilet and shower were in a very tiny bathroom. The beds were not very comfortable but the room was pretty spacious. There was a half wall between the beds and the sofa space which you see in the photos, however, there was only one TV and you could not see it on the couch because of the wall. We did not like the breakfast options but they were normal for this hotel chain. Overall, the hotel was ok for the price. I am not sure about how the rating it so high on ******* because it was ok at best.

The staff members at this hotel are extra gracious, helpful and friendly. They made us feel quite special.

Room was clean and when we ask for extra towels we have got them right right away. It was quiet and homie.

Called twice to notify them the of my travel plans had changed twice approaching the check in date and was assured room would be honored. Literally lanes in Tampa for my connecting flight to Atlanta and advised me my room would not be honored because they were overbooked. Explained to them my prior phone calls and that room was booked 5 months ago, they did honor it as notes were made. Staff there was outstanding when I arrived, they knew my difficulties that week with the passing of my father, flight cancellations and room issues. Pool was closed but they had a deal with hotel next to them. New carpet on our floor and it looks like some fresh paint. I would return.

They wouldn’t let us check in until 645, put us in the wrong room, the tub leaked all over the floor, we didn’t have any towels to soak it up, and the staff could have not cared less. I would recommend another property
