Without a doubt, this place is awesome. The host Abia, (sp) goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience possible. The views from this perfectly sized property are the best. The little trekking on his property as well as the adjacent property give you the best views of the perfectly beautiful ocean shore. The rooms as well as the bathrooms are spacious. The gym is very well equipped and there's a well maintained tennis court as well. We loved our stay here.

The location is unmatched and the owner/host was extremely welcoming and genuine. We felt right at home. The private beach access was one of a kind & there are several scenic viewpoints within walking distance of the hotel. The property is massive with endless seating options. Absolutely fell in love with this little gem, looking forward to returning to the Algarve!

You’ll find Foz Club down a pretty beaten up road which, if you’re in a taxi, the driver will gripe about. This goes for any taxi you get while staying here! But when you get there, you’ll get a genuinely warm greeting that you can’t help but be charmed by. If you don’t have a car, factor in taxis back from town, but you can walk there in about 40 mins via the cliff top, beach and boardwalk. The host is very laid back and welcoming which is lovely. I’d recommend Foz Club but would say go ready to embrace something a little eclectic. It’s not run of the mill, but that’s what makes it special.

We've been back for the second time and everything is as good as ever! Every detail has been thought out to the highest level, the simplicity of the owner Abilio and his unflagging friendliness. Een prachtige plek midden in het natuurgebied. Zowel de opkomende zon alsook de avondzon geven de rotsen in het uitzicht iets magnifieks. Het hotel is mooi en ruim, eigenzinnig en stijlvol ingericht. Een zeer royaal ontbijt wordt op je eigen terras geserveerd. Op loopafstand, zijn lekkere restaurants en het stadje Alvor ook op loopafstand heeft er wel 15. Het hotel heeft zoveel extra’s waarvoor we zeker terug komen.
