Hotel West Court Amami

A business hotel located in the center of Amami Oshima. It is convenient because it is close to bus stops, izakayas, and convenience stores. It was compact room, but everything was prepared and was not inconvenient. Since there is a large public bath, I did not use the unit bath in the room. It's clean overall, and there's no problem at all at a reasonable price. Breakfast was a buffet, and I was surprised to be able to eat chicken rice by myself. The recommended izakayas for dinner are all popular restaurants, and you can't enter unless you make a reservation in advance.

It is a hotel that opened in 2018 and still feels new. The overall impression is that of a "stylish" business hotel, without luxury, but with a sense of cleanliness. I went on a tour with two people, but I couldn't get a twin room, so I used two single rooms. Most of the participants were so, so maybe there are few twin rooms? The rooms are clean and well stocked with amenities. The room's own air conditioner works well, but the noise of the air purifier interferes with sleep, so I turned it off at midnight. In terms of location, it is convenient because there are restaurants such as "Yanigawa Street" and "123 Mart", which is convenient for souvenirs, nearby.

20 seconds walk from the nearest bus stop. Even though I knew it was near, I was at a loss as to which direction to walk. I was helped by the GPS function of my smartphone. It's a new hotel, so it was clean and comfortable. The refrigerator in the room does not have a freezer, but I used it because I could procure ice. There are vending machines, but there are very few types, so I procured them on the way home from dinner. It's a hot area, so I'd appreciate it if you could buy drinks easily. The location is close to the downtown area of ​​the city, so you don't have to worry about restaurants. It's not a city, so there weren't many drunken people making a fuss, so it didn't disturb my sleep. We could hear the guests in the hallway, so don't expect too much soundproofing.

I stayed one night in my house and each in a single room. There were a lot of beards left in the washroom in my wife's room, so I asked them to clean it again, but it was also appropriate, so I was very offended. Not recommended.

The room was spacious and well cleaned. There were two carrying cases for one or two nights, so it was a pity that the stand was small and only one could be unfolded. Because it is in the center of the city, it is convenient to go out for dinner. There was a large public bath at a nearby affiliated hotel and it was possible to use it, but it was troublesome to wear it in winter, so I finished it in the bath in my room. The bathroom was large and convenient. Breakfast was delicious with the famous chicken rice. I thought it was a good hotel because a tour group from a major travel agency was also staying there.

Located in the city, it was very convenient. The car was also taken in and out, and my request was met. It was helpful to be able to use the large public bath at the affiliated hotel next door.
