Hotel El Guerra

The hotel is old and dated. But it still looks cozy. Don't expect anything from the fitness room, etc. The rooms are also dated, small and the towels don't really smell fresh, but the shower was nice and the breakfast okay. Normally fine for us. We wouldn't say anything about it. However, the heating did not work. They couldn't fix it on the 1st day. Day 2 there was a small blower that distributed more cold air than warm air. That day the 2nd heating also failed. When checking out on the 3rd day, I reported to the owner that this was annoying as the ski clothing could not dry. She initially dismissed the matter as, 'why do you need a heater?'. I always sleep with the window open. So did we, but again, it was about drying the clothes and gloves. She ignored that. Then she said, and by the way, that's not possible at all. They just do it. Well, they didn't. Can't, she said. And what if it isn't so, my husband said. Well, then you get 50 euros back. Well deal. So said, we go upstairs to check. So the heaters didn't work. We paid. That had to happen first. Then waited for the 50 euros. Why are you still standing here? We said we had a deal. She started laughing at us. You don't think I'm going to give you 50 euros, do you? That was a joke. Well, we thought it was anything but a joke. A boss who first of all ignores why the heating has to be turned on in the first place and then dismisses an appoin**ent as a joke and laughs at us. What a disgusting serpent of a boss! Does not keep to what has been agreed and enjoys it too. Nauseating! Impostor! Got pissed off, but she didn't care. Never come again! That's what running a hotel is like! Worthless!

We were coming from the Por todo lo alto festival in Sierra Nevada, and we stopped to eat and cool off in the pool. The food is delicious, abundant and at a reasonable price. The pool is not very big, but it is in a nice corner with lots of shade. And it's free. The staff treated us very well, so I can only recommend it.

We are a family that stayed at this Hotel last summer, we were so satisfied that we went again for 4 days now in August of this year. They have treated us again as if we were family, Ester is a charmer always looking out for us, we have been like at home, incredible affection and kindness, the cook has all the love for my children and us. I don't have words to thank you so much, I can only tell you that we will return as soon as we can. Impeccable cleanliness, spectacular dinners in quantity and everything delicious, great breakfast, large and very clean rooms with hairdryer, soap, etc., the pool is cool but appreciated after taking an excursion and the jacuzzi on a beautiful terrace. Thanks a lot for everything.

Four-day getaway in July to escape the heat wave. Comfortable hotel, quiet on weekdays, although the influx of clients increases on weekends. Good cleanliness and comfort of beds and pillows. Breakfast more than acceptable and included in the price. Excellent attention from both the management, Esther, and the staff, Fran among others. Extensive restaurant menu, for all tastes. It has a swimming pool to refresh if necessary. Good value for money. Recommendable.

Awful. Absolutely horrible trea**ent from the owner. They sneak dishes into your restaurant bill that you haven't ordered, he kicked us out of the pool when he had told us on the phone that if we ate at the restaurant we could stay all afternoon. A tremendous lack of respect for my family since we went to celebrate a birthday and it ruined our day. I do not recommend to anybody!!!
