"Good initial impression with the hotel having a grand old lady character presiding at the top of the lake. Easy to find and park. Lady at reception was very helpful. Bedroom was a bit basic although shower large and modern. We stayed end of July in hot weather and the lack of air con was an issue. Also an electricity cut in the morning meant the fans wouldn't work, no WiFi for a period and breakfast was fairly basic. Good location. Could be better"

"Absolutely loved our stay here. We came across it on a drive across France (we're from USA). Made a friend with a happy pup who enjoyed a couch with me in the lobby. Lovely accommodations and great service from the front desk. Even had a mini fridge in the room with water and some snacks. Will stay again."

"The hotel is quite old but nice. In the village centre, it is close to many shops. The room was small but clean, probably with too much furniture. Unluckily on our last day it had been extremely windy and a terrible coal smell came in from the bathroom fan. We had almost to hold our breath while on the bathroom. The service was ok. Breakfast was really expensive."
