The Marmara Antalya

Great hotel with great facilities, lovely views and decent breakfast. Rooms are very weird decor but clean and had everything you'll need. Usual extremely high priced mini bar as well, including chilled condoms. We opted for a sea view which is well worth it as the view was great. The revolving part is pretty small so while more expensive, you'll only get a view half the time as it'll turn to face the hotel, in my opinion not worth it. Breakfast selection was good (if you like sweet pastry like me, watch out for them mislabeling the apple pastry as cheese pastry, not pleasant), lots of fruit and hot and cold options. Coffee wasn't great but plenty of it anyway. Pool area was great, plenty of beds and didn't get overly busy. You can order food and drink (overpriced but I'll come back to that). There's also a cliff bathing area with a small bar. We didn't use it during the day but went down for sunset as it was a beautiful view and had a small seating area. Weirdly quiet at sunset but fine by us. Lots of beds down there but rocky and choppy sea, so didn't appeal to for swimming. You'd not be able to take small children in there either. There's a few restaurants around the hotel, the one opposite, zahtar, I'd recommend, great prices, great food and great service. There's also a small supermarket and a slightly bigger one just down the road. There are lockers and showers on the spa floor that you are free to use and very handy if you have a late departure as you can check out but use these facilities. Our only frustrations were as below but these wouldn't be major issues just thought I'd mention in case they affect anyone else. We arrived very early, 5 am, but didn't want to pay for early check in with us not wanting to actually sleep in the room then, they said the room would be ready at 11am, which would have been great, we asked to pay for breakfast which was 440TRY £22 which was a lot but it was fine as it was worth it for the convenience on the first day. We could relax in the dining area as it was vast with sofas and facilities, then relax by the pool. Someone came to inform us that the to would be ready for 9, we went up at 9, wasn't ready. It'll be ready in 30 minutes, 30 minutes later wasn't ready. Again told 30 minutes. We have it 45, went back and it was eventually ready. Pretty much at 11 like they'd said previously. The other frustration we had was by the pool. We'd bought crisps to have as a snack by the pool as they only offer bigger meals like sandwiches and wraps that we saw, no snacks. The first couple of days we were able up snack pretty openly by the pool. On the third day we'd bought a big bottle of coke to have and this was clearly a step to far as they told us we couldn't consume outside food by the pool. It's a bit of an archaic rule these days especially when they are charging a ridiculous markup for coke when there's a shop over the road. Also by the pool a very loud family arrived the day we were leaving, thankfully. Who

Hotel: The hotel was lovely, given how busy the area seemed it was still very peaceful and relaxing. Location: Good location, taxi rank directly across the road if needed but generally we had transfers arranged to and from locations and had absolutely no trouble in getting where we needed to go, when needed. Room: We had 3 rooms but as one member of the party ended up unable to come on the holiday, we took our 12 year old daughter in to our family room, the “living room” area had a single bed so it was perfect for the 3 of us as our daughter had privacy from us and vice versa, without us having to worry. The rooms were clean however our bathroom was not up to standard, the toilet was dirty and the shower had quite a bit of black markings around the seals. However it was nothing major. Pool & Seaside: the pool was fantastic, we were very lucky and always managed to get loungers by the pool with the 5 of us together, even on the days where we woke slightly later than normal. The pool is a very good size and there is a water slide which we all enjoyed. The pool is not heated so can be very cold, by midweek we had all decided that the ONLY way to enter the pool was by the slide, so you couldn’t back out of jumping in! We didn’t venture down to the seaside as not everyone in our party are confident swimmers so those of us who are felt we were all better poolside. The view out to sea was incredible and a view I will always now miss. There is a lift down to the sea so do not be scared off by all the steps. Food/all inclusive: The food was the standard I had expected for an all inclusive at the price we got. By the end of the week the food did all seem a bit “same same” but good none the less. None of us are fussy eaters so we never struggled in getting something to eat. The pool bar serves decent pizza, burgers, toasties and chips during the day. It was unfortunate that ice poles/ice creams were an “extra” and not included with the all inclusive, that and the fact that there was no range of ice creams but instead only one choice. I do feel some ice poles/creams being part of the all inclusive would suit families better and be a great help to cooking off on those really hot days. The drinks range was very basic but fine. Entertainment: this is the one aspect that I feel really let the hotel down; there was NO entertainment the entire week we were there. Unless of course you want to say that some speakers playing a poor range in music are a form of entertainment. As a family who love live entertainment it would have been really good. Animals: there are a lot of animals (cats and some dogs) that roam the grounds of Adonis hotel. As a family of animal lovers this really did make our hotel stay ideal. I have a lot of respect for how everyone treated the animals, they were all treated well by staff and visitors. Very nice to see. Staff: although the staff were at no point rude, I barely think I saw a smile from any of them the entire time I was t

The hand shaken and we bought all-inclusive tour at the boutique hotel in Antalya - Prima Hotel ***+ . Our acquaintance with the boutique boutique started with trying to cheat us on 57 lires, putting money under a plate with the delicious nothing. A careful emigrant from the CIS countries reported that the course is not more than 5 lira per dollar, but by great love she exchanges us money for 5.3 ( in fact in exchange - 5.57 ). We, unfortunately, were aware of the present course and politely refused, having returned the lira from under the plate, after which the Russian-speaking girlfriend didn't even look in our side (perhaps only spit in food, but we will never know about it). Our beautiful everything was turned off: The generous table was settled with unfresh sausages, overdue yoghurt, most likely dull eggs, cotton on the stock, cuts of bread (when trying to take a whole bulk was brushed) and semi-finished. Sometimes, the breakfast was offered sausages that didn't even eat local cats. Drinks are a separate reason for the proudness of the hotel's lakehouse - soluble coffee, dirty cups, but if you want, you can drink juice if you want a girlfriend is at the bar. If not, I'm sorry. The juice, by the way, will pour a little more than half a glass and throw it on the counter so it becomes clear that this is the last glass for today. Ol inclusive is famous for unlimited alcohol, but our apparently too was too much - we were offered an unlimited one glass of wine OR beer, which, given the quality of the rest of the food, we did not risk. Walking around the local five points in search of food, we found that everything we are given ”meat” - is bought on the stock not more than 4 lira per kilo (for comparison - ice cream is worth 5 lira). Now we want to talk about purity. Everywhere. The rooms are cleaned at least once a day and not intense than a pair of swabs (under the bed we were welcomely waiting for a condom, and we kindly left it to the next standing. The dirty public toilets and dusty TV were not so beautiful As snow towels that deserve Oscar (and we, as they used them, the Darwin Prize). We suspected the bad when we found our towels on the balcony floor. On the incoming and already native spots we realized that these were our old towels and asked them to change. The administrator kindly did it and promised to defamate the cleaners. After a day, we decided to mark the towels with a non-water ink and put them on the floor so that it was clear - they needed to be replaced. When we arrived at the room in the evening we found folded triangles of towels with our own labels - they just folded them from the floor on the bed. Please enjoy, dear guests. We went again to the resepschen for new and got a very strange reaction: The good administrator suddenly ripped, shook the iron bank and threw it out. The reactions we didn't understand, but we remained waiting - towels are needed. And we got them, but the administrator, for some reason, stopped saying hi and smile. Next time we got the sweaty towels again, but already with

Staff are amazing and very helpful. Room had a terrace and sea view. Also a view of the building site opposite! The whole place needs an update. Breakfast was made to order which was great, even if it was only boiled eggs and toast. Restaurant was not open so we visited local restaurant's especially Roberts coffee who have a very good food menu. Room cleaned every day to a high standard; However sink was loose, shower door leaked and no door on the toilet.

Must ask for sea view room 1708 is amazing🤩🤩 The view is in one word amazing waking up to the sunrise and watching the clouds and mountains meet and have breakfast by seaside and walk down the steps to the beach its simply amazing. Breakfast for 2 of the 3 days we stayed was served which was not as good as the self serve buffet. Location is close to the bus station where u can get to the old city. My advise get a ride to the nearest tram station thats more reliable or pick route with several bus alternatives since they dont arrive on time as shown on google.
