Charming house located next to many fun spots in Downtown Apex and Pittsboro. We went for my girlfriend’s birthday and they had a nice bouquet set up when we arrived. Our hosts were excellent and the breakfast area is very warm and accommodating.

We stayed in the Rose room for three nights on our visit to the Cary area. The room is wonderful with a large amount of space, comfortable sitting area by the fireplace and nice views of the pond. Many windows are great for light. Dual vanities in the bath make it easy for a couple. Beth is a gracious host and breakfasts in the sunroom were a great way to start the day! The paddle boat was fun and a good way to get some neat photos of the property. It's very convenient to Cary and Raleigh with US 64 close by.

This was a perfect getaway for our anniversary. A quiet spot that seems secluded but is actually very conveniently close to downtown Apex (cute downtown shops and good restaurants.)
We felt pampered and relaxed.
The staff was helpful and friendly.
We spent some time in the garden, just enjoying the flowers and pond.
The only thing I would note is that if you plan to watch TV- there was very limited channels- I couldn’t find ANYTHING and I wasn’t even being picky. It was all infomercials and CSPAN type stuff.
I would suggest to the staff to get rid of the basic cable and just get Netflix instead. ;)

The grounds surrounding the house are stunning and large, great for walking around and relaxing. The paddle boat is a nice extra and the lake/pond is large enough to boat around. I was very impressed with everything during my stay.

My wife and I had a wonderful anniversary getaway. The house and grounds are beautiful. Innkeepers Tom and Linda made us feel right at home. Linda is an amazing cook. We loved breakfast each morning. I highly recommend staying here.
