Experience the beach and resort features, activities around here is phenomenal. Food is highlight both morning breakfast and dinner (no need to go anywhere for food). Taxi available to go other part of the city. Friendly staff and whatapp customer service to help answer all your booking services (ask anything you will get an answer). I book thru them SPA went couple of time BUS come to resort location back and forth. Even it is untimed, they arrange taxi for you to get dropped. One additional I would say you want something provide your resort card they scan them to go your account and pay at the end when you leave resort (no need to swipe to pay). Eg: Dinner table you need coconut or some other extra's Or SPA massage any resort facility you might be entertain. Lovely place to stay and visit ! if you beach goer ! Dunes, slides, water park around you here.

1. We have a family of five so they just connected two rooms together. One has a queen bed and the other has three twin beds that are cramped together with hardly any room to move around. There is a tiny round table barely big enough to fit one laptop. 2. Location is amazing right by the beach but getting there could be a nightmare. We arrived during rainy season and the roads right out front of the hotel are red mud and looks like a war zone. The roads are basically giant mud holes for the last kilometer getting to the resort. 3. Internet service is absolutely horrible and not acceptable for anyone who needs reliable internet for business. Every day the name of the WIFI network changes to something different and most of the websites I try to access have been blocked by the network administrator. Common news websites like cnn.com are blocked for no apparent reason. This means my daughter was unable to do any of her research for her homework and our ability to handle our business was hindered as well. 4. Things nowhere to be found: Ice or ice maker anywhere on the premises, a microwave, a balcony, and no running potable water in the rooms or water fountains anywhere on the resort. This means we had to buy bottled water every day when we went out because the tiny refrigerator doesn't hold much and isn't very cold. The lack of a balcony means we have no place to put our wet cloths or our sandy shoes when we return from the beach so the sand naturally transfers all across the tile floor and eventually gets mixed into the bed sheets. It just blew my mind that there would be a hotel right on the beach without a balcony or even the ability to open a window or sliding glass door to hear or feel the ocean breeze. That's the whole point of beach front. Literally every other hotel in the surrounding area has open balcony areas. The lack of air flow or ventilation meant there is always a lingering smell of some sort, either from damp clothing or from whatever food was eaten the day before. Oh, and there are ants. Not many, but at night the kids were complaining because an ant or two would walk across their face while they were trying to watch TV and it scared our little one so much he couldn't sleep all night. The ceiling was also not very sound proof as we could hear the residents upstairs constantly stomping their feet. 5. Most disappointing is that there was really no communication from the staff. When we arrived we were never given any instructions, a map of the facility, a brochure of any kind, or any direction on what the ”resort” consisted of. Every other day I was finding out new things that the staff should have told us when we arrived. From walking around by ourselves we quickly realized there were no real amenities. We found out on our sixth day of a 7 day vacation that there is a ”fitness center” behind the resort that no one uses. It consists of a couple pieces of worn out equipment and some light dumbells. Drive about 45 minutes down the coast from the city of Fortaleza and you will find this hidden gem on arguably one of Brazil’s best beaches. The location of this hotel is magnificent, perched on a hill overlooking a beautiful secluded beach, in the charming beach town of Barro Preto lies the Carmel Charme Resort. As soon as we walked through the door to enter the resort, we were promptly met by friendly staff who escorted us to the terrace overlooking the pool and beach and we were immediately offered refreshing agua de coco along with chilled tropical fruit shooters. Check in formalities were performed and we made our way to our room. All rooms here overlook the pool and ocean and the view from our room did not disappoint. Our room was well appointed with a stocked mini bar, large King sized bed, a loveseat sofa bed, and small table and chairs. The room amenities included 2 complimentary pairs of Havaianas with the Carmel logo which was a very nice touch. The room is also equipped with a remote controlled split air conditioner and a flat screen HD TV with multiple international channels. It is extremely rare to stay in a hotel and not have anything go wrong and unfortunately this was also the case here. I’m going to start with the good. The location of this resort exceeded our expectations in every way. Photos on the internet do not do this place justice. It is stunningly beautiful here. Having breakfast at their beachside dining room was a highlight each morning. It was such a great way to start out each day. The grounds are well maintained and the views of the ocean are unforgettable. I would also like to commend the staff here. Everyone that we encountered were so helpful and friendly. One day during my stay, I went for a bike ride around the village and eventually made my way to the nearby town of Iguape where I then returned to the hotel along the sand on the beach as it was low tide. It was a very warm day and by the time I reached the hotel I was exhausted! I collapsed onto one of the lounge chairs and I was promptly met by a friendly staff member who brought me an ice cold agua de coco without me even needing to ask for it. It is little touches like these that make good hotels great and keeps people like me returning. This kind gesture was very much appreciated! The pool grounds are beautiful and immaculate and swimming up to the poolside bar for a refreshing cold cerveja was wonderful. The secluded beach at this hotel would rival any of the world’s best beaches, and I was born and raised in Hawaii and this beach compared well with our best. Warm beautiful blue water with gentle breezes each day was heaven on earth. With friendly staff and blessed with a beautiful location, you would think that everything would be perfect. I really really wanted to give this resort a 5 star rating but there were a few things that lowered their score, and one of them was quite significant. O hotel é frente mar com aquela vista maravilhosa que só o Nordeste tem. Quarto espaçoso com cama super confortável, ar condicionado e frigobar. Tem armário para guardar as coisas e deixar tudo ao nosso alcance. Varanda com vento maravilhoso e ótima para refeições que você consegue pedir na própria cozinha do hotel que tem um cardápio ótimo com porções muito bem servidas. Banheiro ótimo com água quente no chuveiro. Piscina excelente com área para criança. O café da manhã é incluso na diária e tem muitas opções desde cuscuz e tapioca, ovos, queijos, sucos, café, bolo e frutas variadas. Equipe muito cordial e solícita. Foi uma estadia incrível e vale super a pena para quem procura descansar e desfrutar de conforto!!!!! Voltarei mais vezes com certeza!!!

I have been loyal to that hotel 3 times in a row. But my last experience, during the pandemie was HORRIBLE. A CUT OF AC FOR 3 1/2 HOURS, WITHOUT WARNING, TO SAVE MONEY BECAUSE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE. Nobody told me this; I asked why, I got reasons all as fanciful as each other!THE TRUTH, BEFORE LEAVING. If you can t afford to look like a 5 stars hotel, don t pretend it with the rate! The cherry on the cake was a morning, because everything was so old-in terms of food, to find some eggs of cockroach eggs in corn flakes- i do have substantial proofs, pixs, videos, & more.... The owner Fernando had the audacity to talk to me nicely about the situation-not to eat french fires in order to have clients satisfied- EXCUSE ME, it's normal! it's not a favor(maybe Brasil, not anywhere else, travel Dear!) I paid, and got expulsed, because too demanding????- in a middle of a pandemic!!, to satisfy the little ego and unprofessionalism of that owner who makes you think he is rich-quite the opposite!.... (He didn t speak english well, -not his fault, but that s ok.) His action was almost criminal. To expel people in the middle of a pandemic in a dirty, unprofessional way, who pay a 5 star (but in fact, it is only 1 and a half star) and who have asked for explanations.

We stayed at the Vila Galé in Fortaleza this summer. We were looking for a hotel close to the beaches and the city, and with a good affordable price. Already with food included and room service, and we couldn't miss the pool. And we couldn't be happier with our experience. It’s a four-star hotel,from the pictures we were expecting the building to be modern but in fact it has a very rustic style inside. One thing that surprised everyone was that the rooms were very large and comfortable and the bathrooms were also very large. Besides, the service is super good because there people are super friendly and funny. However one thing that should improve is parking because one of the parking is private and the other is shared with the hotel in front, and the convenience stores inside the hotel were not good because there were no things that should have (like slippers and swimsuits), not just souvenirs. This hotel is obviously not that cheap, but it is worth the price because it is a very quiet place, very well located, with a beautiful view to the sea, with some very good foods and activities for children.This hotel is ideal for going with children up to 7 years old because it has many activities, and to go with friends too as it is cheap and quality. My final grade is 4 stars. Very good hotel !!!

The perfect location for anyone going to a event at the Ceará Event Centre.It is 15 minutes from the road, and type 3 minutes from the Event Centre, along with the very persistent Iguatemi. The room was comfortable (i stayed in a executive room), with good cleaning and quality bed linen. cable TV, wifi, air conditioning ok.My reservation is in relation to the size of the bathroom box. I saw several comments from people who have already been home there, but I paid to see with my eyes, rs. The box is MINIMUM! I have no problem with small spaces, but that box gave me claustrophobia. And the water of the shower falls all widely, so it was impossible to take a bath with the open box. I took a bath at the hurry to get out there. I've got 1.57 and 60 kg, so if you're a big person, you'll have a worse experience. I asked for dinner to eat in the room and it took more than 1 h to arrive because the kitchen official was in rest time, even being 19h. But ok. Breakfast fat and varied, staff, modern building.
