Stayed with my husband and my mother in a 2 bedroom apartment. We were a bit early for check in but they checked to see if the apartment was ready and we only had to wait a few mins. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was on the 1st floor and was clean and well equipped. There was a bit of a smell from the drains the day we arrived but the maintenance man appeared the next day and fixed the problem. Our towels and sheets were changed once during our 1 week stay. There is a TV but we were unable to get any British channels. There is a pool but we didn't use it and a table and 4 chairs on the balcony. There is a bus stop outside the apartments as well as a taxi rank and reception staff were happy to phone for a taxi if needed. We ate at the restaurant one night and the food was lovely. For families there is a games room with a small soft play, table football, pool table. There are quite a few good restaurants and bars nearby and 2 supermarkets within a minute walk. Also a very short walk to the sea and glorious sunsets you can watch sitting in The Blarney Stone. We were very impressed with the apartments and would have no hesitation recommending them.

Great apartment with everything you need. Maids came in a few times to empty bin and leave fresh towels. Which was unexpected but lovely. We had a huge balcony which was facing the road.. But private and had a lovely view with sunset, so suited us. Only reason for 4 star instead of 5 was the bed was VERY firm and only 1 long pillow, so I ached every day ( but this may suit others) But I can't fault anything else. Lovely clean communal areas, pool clean and checked daily.. Needs a little update with missing mosaics around it..we got a sunbed every day. Bus stop right outside, all restaurants, bars and supermarkets on your doorstep . Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing, chilled break.

We stayed for five nights right at the end of the season in a two bedroom apartment in a block away from the main pool area. Everything was great - friendly check in, clean rooms and a real homely feel with everything you need for self catering (even a full oven). Great wifi, smart tv with Netflix etc and BBC1,2,ITV1,C4,5 cbbc and cbeebies. The pool / bar area was a bit 'retro' like holidays used to be in the 1980's but this allowed us to chat to others, meet the staff and we soon realised that it was much more fun than lots of more 'modern' complexes we've stayed at. Yes the pool got busy with locals at the weekend but you get the feeling the company are engaging people who live and work in the area rather than alienating and isolating them from us tourists- whats wrong with everyone having a great time? It's not five star accommodation but we had a five star holiday

We came here for a week with our 4 children one who has severe autism and learning difficulties. There is a gate that is open on to a main road! This was a nightmare as our son is a flight risk so kept running out! Our food let also clocked the gate. The playground is not enclosed on the main road. The pool is open to everyone to use so mega busy all the time. Spanish kids don’t wear swimming nappies so weeing in the baby pool it was disgusting. The rooms are a walk away! Ours was ground floor with no gate and again on to a road so when we was in the apartment had to keep the kids locked in. The room wasn’t cleaned or towels changed on our stay. The hotel gets busy with kids party’s because of the softplay. The Spanish kids kept nicking our kids toys from the pool. I would not recommend or ever go back here!

The good: Great location between 2 fantastic beaches (Cala Santandria was our fave} Lots of good, reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Close to well stocked supermarkets. Apartment (1 bed) was spacious and well equipped: Sofa Bed in living area 2 a/c units (living area & bedroom} Large fridge freezer / hob / microwave & combi oven / Dolce gusto coffee machine Small play room for kids with soft play, table football, air hockey. The not so good: The pool was great BUT it’s not private, so anyone can use it for free with a small purchase from the bar. This meant it was always busy. It wasn’t a problem as such, but when you’ve spent around 3k on a holiday, a little exclusive use of pool for guests would be nice. It’s a minor ******, and wasn’t a deal breaker. Towels were changed every 3 days as they said they would, but bedclothes were meant to be changed after 7 days, and they weren’t. In summary, loved the location and the apartments were good. Wouldn’t hesitate staying again if I had the chance.

Clean and functional. We spent a week here. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Is central in Cala Blanca and has a decent pool, table tennis, air hockey and indoor play. Only had lunch which was good and menu was varied. Limited storage in bedrooms but manageable. Good base for getting to cituadella. We rented a car for two days to access north of the island.

Similar to the previous reviews, we have just finished a one week stay here as a family with 3 kids. We had a lovely stay and the apartments are fantastic. We stayed in a two bed room, which was set 2 minutes walk from main pool and reception. The apartments themselves are lovely and well laid out, with comfy beds. They are a 2 minute walk from a gorgeous row of restaurants that lead down to a panoramic view of the sea, 5 minutes walk away. It’s lovely of a night, nice chilled atmosphere and mainly consisting of families and locals. No issues with noise from the street in the apartment, although unfortunately ours was at the end of the block above a restaurant, so did get a bit noisy of a morning as they set up. However this wasn’t a major issue. The balcony did however overlook a quiet road which wasn’t the nicest view we’ve had when abroad, but still it wasn’t unpleasant. We loved the location which is a 5-10 minute walk from Cala Blanca beach, which is great for families. Of note, whilst the restaurant and pool were really nice and immaculately clean, they were open to locals all day. This didn’t bother me as I liked the fact they were more lively as a result, but I could see why this wouldn’t appeal to all, especially those looking for a quiet break. There is apparently another pool open to guests, but it’s certainly not obvious where it is as we couldn’t find it! Nonetheless we didn’t actively search as we liked the main pool. Of note, the staff are lovely as are people in general in Cala Blanca. All in all a great stay and we would return.

What a lovely place, please ignore the negative reviews from others. I read them beforehand and was a bit apprehensive but we had a great time. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment with our 3 year old and it was top quality accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is fully quipped, you can get irons from reception, nice balcony, beds are comfy…it all actually looks like the official photos! The 2 bed apartments are a 5 min walk from reception, restaurant, and the small selection of shops/restaurants, also a park and soft play for the kids is there, but this was no issue for us. There is a separate pool right outside the apartment door which is lovely and quiet. It’s a 10 min walk to the beach which is also nice and has some restaurants around it. Small supermarket 2 mins walk away and the bigger one is next to reception. There is also a much bigger supermarket about 30 mins walk away which had a good selection. We went to some of the restaurants nearby and they were good. There isn’t day or night time entertainment here which didn’t matter to us but this isn’t the place for people who want that party atmosphere! However you can bus/taxi to other places quite easily- Cala n Bosch where we have stayed before and there are more bars/restaurants there and also Ciutadella is a great historical town to visit which isn’t that far, plenty there and I’m sure has some things going on in the evening! My only suggestion is that it would be good to see a cleaner in a 7 day stay… just for towel exchange and maybe a quick clean, it’s not ideal when you have a small child and are cooking etc to keep on top of the cleaning when you have minimal equipment! We went to reception and swapped towels so it was fine but a few more bin bags would have helped and a proper place to put rubbish. I wouldn’t usually write that here but the hotel didn’t ask for any feedback via email/feedback form so hopefully they will read this! Airport transfer is about 50 minutes and was fine, we were with Jet2 and airport stuff was all very smooth. Overall can’t recommend Menorca enough for a relaxing break, it is beautiful!

We arrived a couple of hours before the check in time, so we were expecting to wait but we were told our room was ready, so we were able to get in straight away. It only took about 5 minutes to get through the check in process which was done very efficiently by a lovely lad called Mark. He couldn’t have been more helpful. We had asked for a one-bedroom apartment which we knew would be on the 1st floor. The one flight of stairs was not too difficult to overcome. We were over the moon with our room. It provided us with everything the Jet2 room description had advised. Our living room & bedroom overlooked the pool, but we didn’t hear much noise at all during our stay. The air-con was great. 1 unit in the living room and the other in the bedroom. They kept the apartment lovely and cool. The pull-out sofa bed was comfortable and very easy to use and put away each time we needed it. You can log into the Wi-Fi in the room by using the TV router log in & password. We had no internet issues at all during our stay. English cannels on the TV were quite limited but who goes on holiday to watch the tele? The kitchen area was clean & compact with every utensil you would need during our holiday. There was also a toaster, kettle, coffee machine, loads of pots & pans, every piece of cutlery you could imagine & an iron There were twin beds in the bedroom, loads of storage space and plenty of hangers. There were plenty of sheets & pillows, but you could request more from reception, free of charge if you wanted more. The safety deposit box was in the storage cupboard. This cost 5 euros for the full 10 days of our holiday with a 10 Euro refundable deposit. At that price, who on earth would not make use of it? The bathroom had a large walk-in shower with a soap & shampoo dispenser. Plenty bath and hand towels. Lots of toilet rolls were also available. There were 2 very large draws under the wash basin, giving us loads of space to keep our bathroom products. Housekeeping was as follows: towels changed every 3 days; sheets changed every 7 days. Bathroom & floors were cleaned weekly. The public areas in the hotel including the inside bar & restaurant were always kept clean & tidy. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. Victor & the team (sorry but I couldn’t remember all the names of the other staff) always had big beaming smiles, something I find can be sadly missing in some of the Spanish hotels I have stayed in. The pool area is washed down every morning and is available for swimming from 9.30am till about 7pm. There are some rules about diving & inflatables, but I didn’t see these enforced at all during our stay. You can hire pool towels from reception which cost 2 euros each with a 10-euro refundable deposit for each towel. These can be exchanged for clean towels every 2 or 3 days if required at a further 1 euro per towel cost. I was advised these charges were to cover the cleaning costs. The hotel does not allow you to reserve s
