Tanoak Hotel

The hotel is small but nice, food is ok and place is clean, however very poorly managed. The fine details of making it a great place to stay were missing: Very loud music day and night, reception representatives and related staff need to be more helpful and need to get some training on customer service. Using the beach experience was terrible during Eid holidays!

Hotel is very expensive raising expectations of comfort and location, the website and description on booking sites give an impression that they have a beach. They don’t, it’s 10 minutes away by car and you have your make sure you take towels from the hotel with you, it’s super crowded, commercial with 10 rows of beach chairs lined up with a construction site behind you and the sea Infront. No privacy, very noisy as every other guest has their speakers on, not a place to read relax or just enjoy nature in. The hotel itself is in the middle of a residential compound, very much as if you stay in a suburb of cairo, the view is that of swimming pools or buildings and some greenery. Rooms are clean and basic, not fancy, which is good if you’re not paying for it, but since we payed a ridiculous amount per night we expected more in way of comfort, food quality and maintenance of rooms (maybe this price was inflated during the Eid holiday). The staff were nice and helpful, the entertainment in the evening was catering to different tastes and was not too loud which was a relief, quite nice actually. If you want peace and quiet take rooms looking towards the back of the hotel away from the pool which is a bit noisy. All in all it was a pleasant experience if it was not for the fact that guided by the cost we had set much higher expectations and felt tricked specially by the fact that it definitely is NOT a beach hotel. I looked up prices of front row, beach access villa rentals and found as a family needing 3 double rooms we would have payed one third what we payed at this hotel and would have gotten nature, beach, peace and quiet without compromising comfort. Again I need to emphasize that staff were really kind and helpful

My recent stay at Tanoak Hotel left a lot to be desired. From the noise disturbance to the lack of a private beach and the unfortunate case of food poisoning, the overall experience was far from pleasant. Let's start with the rooms, or should I say, lack of peacefulness. The walls must have been made of tissue paper because I could hear every single sound from the neighboring rooms. The constant slamming of doors throughout the night made it impossible for me to get a decent night's sleep. It was as if there was no soundproofing at all, resulting in a restless and frustrating stay , The bed was reminiscent of rocks masquerading as mattresses, left me with a severe back pain. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the promise of a private beach. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we discovered that there was no such luxury. The hotel failed to deliver on its advertised amenities, leaving us feeling deceived and disappointed. It would have been a nice bonus to have a tranquil beach area exclusively for hotel guests, but instead, we had to share overcrowded Beach. To make matters worse, my husband suffered from food poisoning on our last day at the hotel. This was an incredibly distressing experience, exacerbated by the fact that there was no hospital nearby for immediate medical attention. We were left in a helpless situation, with no option but to check out the next day and travel back home with my husband in such a sick state. Our journey was frequently interrupted as he had to stop every couple of kilometers to vomit. This not only added physical discomfort but also cast a dark shadow over our entire stay at Tanoak Hotel. In conclusion, my stay at Tanoak Hotel was nothing short of a letdown. The constant noise from neighboring rooms, lack of a promised private beach, and the distressing case of food poisoning made this trip a complete nightmare. I am deeply dissatisfied with the experience and would caution others who are considering staying here. Tanoak Hotel needs to address these issues promptly to ensure that future guests do not have to endure similar disappointments.

Guys i want to share my horrible experience in #TANOAKhotel #AinSokhna Every single night we stayed at that place, there was an electricity outage (On& Off) Problem starts at 7 pm and reaches the peak starting 11 pm till 8 am (sleep time) and because alot of alarms go off when electricity is out, it wakes us up constantly because electricity keeps coming on and off about 15 to 20 times until it stays on By then, we’re wide awake and extremely tired the next day to enjoy anything. We couldn’t sleep and when we woke up, water was cut!! When we called the reception they didn’t anawer, and we went there asking for the manager receptionist reply was manager is sleeping and i can’t call him!!! And regarding the electricity and water outage they claim that this is general issue and they don’t have solutions for !! Problem is related to their own generators! We and other guests called tourism police seekig their help as we can’t find any responsible person to talk with!! Pool is not clear Beach is so far from the hotel and very poor facilities& service there.. No security in that place, it’s unsafe especially for girls only Talking about the staff, here is my review: So unprofessional Zero hospitality Zero management Zero availability If you guys wanna drain you vacation, go there!! This is the worst experience i’ve ever had ☹️☹️ DON’t RECOMMEND AT ALL

We enjoyed our stay here, very clean, friendly staff, convenient with kids. Pool is good , the buffet was really nice with lots of different types , Rooms are spacious, its also so nice at night , we had so much fun here. And planning to visit again

the place was amazing , the animation team was too kind and active .. the rooms was very clean and withe a perfect view . the beach was perfect and sandy … meals was too delicious specially the dinner ..

We visited the club house my wife and I and we really liked the food taste and the service as well. we recommend the rib Eye and Salmon salad and the mushroom white sauce pasta. special thanks to Mr.Ahmed and Mr. Said for their service and hospitality
