Had a wonderful stay at the lotus inn in June 2023, the customer service staff were excellent and extremely helpful, the room was excellent and very comfortable, extremely clean, and well serviced. We had laundry done and it was great. The location was very centrally located, it made it very easy to walk for shopping, for eating and sightseeing. We both loved our stay there and would definitely stay again.
Pella Inn Hostel

Though most of this establishment are private rooms, I stayed in the 8-person dorm, so that is what I am reviewing. While this hostel was very clean and well serviced, it isn’t as good as some other hostels I’ve stayed in recently. The beds were not the most comfortable, though I did sleep alright on them. The beds are completely in the open, so there is absolutely no privacy at all. Also, there are limited electrical outlets, so, depending on how busy it is, you might be fighting for plug space (fortunately the dorm was less than half occupied during my visit, so it wasn’t much of a problem). The dorm does have one, ensuite bathroom, which I imagine results in queues during the busy season, however it is very clean. Lockers are available outside the dorm room for your bags/valuables. The dorm is located on the second floor, over streets which are quite busy late at night, so you will hear the din from the crowd below (light sleepers beware!). Two of the best aspects of this hostel as it’s location and rooftop terrace. Five minutes walk from Monastiraki Square, everything you want to see in central Athens is a stones throw away. The rooftop terrace is absolutely wonderful, with magnificent views of the Acropolis and the old city. A great place to enjoy a few beers in the evening (and a killer sunset), a coffee in the morning (with a terrific sunrise), or just catching some rays in the afternoon. See photos. For the location and terrace alive, I’d stay here again…but would probably opt for a private room.

This is the first hotel in Greece. From the airport to Monastiraki Station, you can see the hotel's LOGO on the right. Note that there are two, the other is called 360 Art Hotel, the lobby is good, but the location and room are not good. This home, breakfast is also eaten here. The entrance to the hotel is the old market, the square is very lively but the room is still very soundproof. The room is still quite big, especially the bathroom is very large (this is very important). The breakfast was very good. I asked about the variety of fried eggs and whether the freshly squeezed orange juice needed (only one cup) of juice, bacon, rice pudding, and the rich fruit types left us a very deep impression. The MINI in the room is free (every day) with two bottles of orange soda (feeling when you are young) and two bottles of water. The location of the hotel is very good, it is very convenient to eat and go to the Acropolis. The furnishings are very retro, and the restaurant on the roof of the hotel is also very nice (the steak is very delicious). Another shortcoming: seeing that we are Chinese, he specifically reminded us not to make noises and repeat them several times. However, the real noisy is obviously those Westerners!

Stayed with my wife at Athenstyle for 4 days in a double ensuite room. Unbeateable location in a lively neighborhood full of cafes, bars, tavernas. Short walking distance to all attractions and night life. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Our room was in the second building across the street and had a balcony. Very clean and comfortable. Rooftop bar with amazing view of Acropolis and the city. Last but not least Chris is a great host made our stay even more enjoyable with many tips and recommendations.

We stayed here for two nights in July 2022. For a three star hotel, this is a very nice and fresh hotel. Staff are really friendly and we got some great tips from the reception. Location is excellent and the rooms tidy. There’s quite a lot of buzz outside, especially during the night, but we did not hear this inside our room on the fourth floor. Breakfast is served in another building, but it is very close by and offers nice views of the Acropolis.
