Staybridge Suites Atlanta - Midtown

It was spacious and clean but the only thing was it wouldn’t let us on the balcony in the room ,we didn’t have enough towel for 6 people,and the cable (tv and remote ) needed update,and the bathroom faucet was leaking.

We experienced some sketchy people outside, as well as many who seemed to be locals using this as a party location. Staff gave different parking prices to different people for the ramps and valet , almost trying to sway us to use valet. Rooms were in desperate need of renovations. For $100 and if you don’t mind the area, you get a spacious room. That’s about it.

The hotel staff , we talked with 3 different women at the front desk, each interaction they were rude , unfriendly, had no manners, and unhelpful. Could not check in at first had to come back. Could not get our car from valet o leave and Aaliyah could not have cared less. We had to go up stairs to The Crowne Plaza and Ogwa was fabulous. She went above and beyond to help us. Please let her supervisor know.

Checking in was horrible. No one at the front desk. After waiting 15 minutes, someone appeared. No "sorry to keep you waiting," or any other greeting. Barely looked up. While I was waiting (for about 15 minutes), the front desk phone rang constantly. The same woman who was processing my check in picked up the phone and hung it up without bothering to answer it. This woman should not be in customer service. The next day, there was a different person who was very nice at the front desk. The valet was also very nice. Another problem was that although I reserved a room with 2 queens, there was none so I had to take a king. Because this hotel is attached to the Crown Plaza hotel, trying to find the property was a nightmare. When I finally found the entrance to the lobby, there was no one outside or inside to ask. I wished I could have just cancelled and left but it was cold and windy so I left the car outside while I waited inside. Also, the windows in the room were not sealed very well and the wind whistled all night. This hotel needs a total renovation.

Everything was nice, except the wait time for receiving your vehicles, the valet service was exceptional, but doing big events such as the holiday party they had during my stay, I think they should have extra valets on doing.

Window in room was leaking cold air into the room; this defect also resulted in profound traffic noise; neither of us could sleep. staff barely tried to get us another room, said we'd get a callback but didn't. We had to go down to the front desk because they didn't answer the phone. Finally, we canceled our 2nd night and went to another hotel.

Our stay was nice. The bathroom could use a little upgrading and some if the furniture was very worn.

I called twice prior to arriving to make sure my room was going to be OK. Let them know we were going to arrive and need the late check-in because we were coming from out of town and I had to work first when I arrived at 2 AM. they stated the room was not there they had overbooked so they put me in another room for their secondary hotel for that one evening and was supposed to come the room. I had four people with me and I let them know that we got a one bed room with a chair so I had one person that had to sleep on the floor and one person slept in the chair , my room was supposed to be a suite but a pullout couch so it would’ve accommodated everyone the second day we left our stuff in that room while we were at the competition when we came back we moved our stuff to the other room that room was better the next morning. I woke up to a double charge for , the room that would stay in the second night but they charge me both nights so I had to go to the other desk and ask the lady about it and then she called down there and told them the room was supposed to be comped at check out the room still have not been caught and I asked the lady about it when I went to breakfast earlier that morning so then someone else had to tell her to go ahead and comp the room which she did but now I have to wait on the amount to go back on my card. It was a huge inconvenience. It was my first time and first experience staying in Atlanta the next time I come, I will not go to the hotel
