Travelodge Crewe Barthomley

Nice little Travelodge, 5 minutes away from the motorway. Very clean throughout and very helpful, friendly staff. No problems with parking and grassy areas to toilet the dogs. There was a KFC and well stocked garage 2 minutes away. Our room was on the ground floor as I think all rooms were. My main criticism is that we were too warm in our room because the window would only open a crack due to a guard wire restricting it. I know this is in place with security in mind but I would much prefer a fully opening window that could just be closed when we were out. The security wire is of minimal effect to a burglar equipped with a wire cutter. A closed window would be a tougher nut to crack.

Excellent staff and service - hotel is a little tired and in need of refurb. Overall good value for money and a good night's sleep.

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. The hotel is conveniently located near the motorway. The staff were all friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. Great place to stay if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable hotel.

Nice stay, lovely reception, clean bathroom and room, slept really well, everything perfect. It was also quiet at night and relaxing decor, had a nice tea and put my feet up for the evening. Well done better than many "luxury" hotels for cleanliness and welcoming reception.

Travelodge could easily provide a better experience. EG Free WIFI for 24 hours, Cleaner and better maintained bathrooms, refurbished public areas. But a good night sleep on a comfortable bed is usually the case.

Booked a cheap night's accommodation as part of a long journey. The hotel was good and the staff friendly, but there is no restaurant and nearby food choices are poor (unless all you want is fried chicken). The policy of only allowing half an hour's free wifi now seems terribly outdated.

The hotel was clean and the staff above and beyond helpful. Comfortable and all for a budget amount. Will stay again when passing this
