"This is a gem. I have stayed here many times over the years and love it. Beautiful property with a collection of buildings housing the main hotel, newer library and suites, beer garden and restaurants. Lovely pastoral setting in quiet Aying, about 30 minutes from Munich on the Autobahn or a train that ends in town. The best tasting beer, marvelous food and the friendliest staff ever. Short drive to hiking or visit to places like Teigernsee - you are close to all that beautiful Bavaria has to offer. I almost don’t want anyone to know. Try a late evening walk through the village to the woods - magical. The brewery has tours for those inclined but thats about it. Rest and rejuvenate. My favorite thing to do is to get a late night beer in the Library, sitting in an overstuffed armchair reading by a warm fireplace."

"We booked this hotel to attend ISPO Munich. It offers the best value for money. It's very well located, 10 minutes from the conference (bus route x 400) and several shops are nearby. It has a separate entrance and a comfortable room (I loved the electric wall-mounted fireplace, which is a very cozy atmosphere :-)."
