Staff friendly and we had a great weekend. Fantastic breakfast and a central location. A little disappointed in our massages. Both were 30 mins long but we both felt that they were shorter than 30 mins. We were back in our room at 11:30 and massages were booked for 11am but started late. With dressing time the actual massages were more like 20 mins, which is short for 40€. If we went back I would not book a spa treatment.

We had an amazing family stay and enjoyed the delicious breakfast and amazing surroundings. It was very suitable for kids with the spa and the play ground nearby. It’s a beautiful place with lots of nice family activities.

An excellent hotel, great breakfast (bircher muesli to die for) lovely bedroom. All the staff were excellent and worked tirelessly to ensure I was completely satisfied with my stay. I would have no hesitation in going back again.

We stayed at the Vital Muhlon our way to Berlin. We used the hotel to explore the Harz mountains. We found the hotel very good the rooms are particularly spacious. The staff are very friendly. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we are visiting the area.

I gave this five stars mainly based on the wellness centre - most impressive. At least 6 different saunas, 2 indoor pools as well as the usual massage facilities. All included (apart from massage etc) in the price of the room. The hotel is situated in the middle of the small town - pleasant to walk around and lots of longer walks available from the hotel into the Harz National park. The rooms are alright - looking their age a bit and could do with some refurbishment. A few fittings in the bathroom were poorly maintained. Quite hard mattress but nevertheless comfortable. The personel were efficient and fairly friendly. I woouldn't class this as a 5 star hotel, it lacked the feeling of 'exclusivity' that such hotels are keen to foster - it's the little things that were missing/strange, e.g. battery operated candles throughout the hotel! Perhaps having some nuts along with the drinks at the bar; no champagne available. Breakfast was good, some pleasant home made salads and cakes/biscuits were a nice touch.

Wonderful and sophisticated wellness retreat in the heart of Germany. Very personal service and a good atmosphere all around. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute. Prices and amenities are kept in good balance. A family run, very personal hotel.

Für den Abstellplatz für unseren PKW mussten wir 1 Stunde lang "kämpfen". An unserem Hochzeitstag hatte ich (Reinhard Wiekenberg) im blauen Salon einen Irish Coffee bestellt. Nach etwa 20 Minuten erhielt ich ein kleines Glas, in dem sich ein Schluck schwarzer Kaffee befand sowie eine Unmenge von Schlagsahne, die ich erst einmal abschöpfen musste, um an den Kaffee zu kommen. Den Irischen Whskey im Glas konnte ich kaum schmecken, so wenig wurde hineingetan. Obwohl jeder Barkeeper wissen müsste, wie man einen Irish Whyskey herstellt (das Rezept kann man übrigens auf jedem Smartphon schnell aufrufen, musste ich das Ergebnis dieses "Versagens" am Tag unserer Abreise mit vollem Preis bezahlen. Da soll mir nicht wieder passieren!! Etwas, das uns auch nicht gefallen hat, war die Helligkeit im Zimmer in der Zeit von 6.00 Uhr und 7.00 Uhr. Die Verdunklung im Schlafzimmer war derart desaströs, das unsere Nachtruhe (besonders nach der Feier der Walpurgisnacht) nicht mehr gewährleistet war. Die Gardienen und Übergardinen sowohl im Schlaf- als auch im Wohnzimmer lassen eine Verdunklung einfach nicht zu.

Wir hatten nur einen kurzen Aufenthalt werden aber bei anderer Gelegenheit gerne wieder kommen. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war sehr herzlich. Wir wurden von der Mitarbeiterin durch das ganze Haus geführt und es wurde uns alles erklärt, Bar, Restaurant, SPA mit Öffnungszeiten, Die Wege zum Zimmer waren weit und etwas unübersichtlich. Es kam deshalb die Aufforderung wir sollten ruhig anrufen wenn wir etwas nicht finden. Das Zimmer war groß genug und Bett und Bad ordentlich und sauber wie auch das ganze Zimmer. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und der Service gut gelaunt und freundlich. Die Lage ist ebenfalls gut.
