In all my life hotel-hopping, this has got to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I don't know how can such hotels still exist? Checkin in was okay. The guy at reception seems friendly, same at checkout. The problem starts when you enter the room. The room is straight out of a 60s movie set. Old, dusty, basic. It's like i was booking into a 2 star hotel in India. Pathetic. Space is limited. Bathrooms not clean. Room not clean. This was a non smoking room yet it reaked of cigarette smell. I called the receptionist to ask him to change our room. At best, all he did was to spray air freshener in the room. Second, there were cockroaches in the room! (Check pictures). I pointed this out to the receptionist who had come to the room to drop our bags and spraying air freshner. He just gave a confused sigh and left, and didn't bother to tell us anything more. Look at the pictures of the bed. Do you think it's worth it to sleep in this hotel? We had booked for a family suite, and we got one single bed and a makeshift small bed (hardest mattress I've slept in my life). The only saving grace of this pathetic hotel is the breakfast, which is not even part of the hotel. You have to walk into a mall restaurant to have it. But breakfast was good and variety. Next day, we checked out although I had another night booked in. It was enough for me and I didn't want to stay again in this 1 star hotel. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

If You want to ruined your holiday stay in this terrible hotel. I wouldn’t even give it one star. The manager of this hotel is horrible person not sweet at all, arrogant, argumentative and rude person. Too many negative issues I can’t even know how to start. From cleaning, toilet, food with mosquito many others. when you complaints instead of he listening to the guest he start arguing and change to self defense mood.

Don’t ruin your holiday..avoid this hotel at all costs. No inside lock chain on door as maid just barges in with her key after knocking without waiting to be let in..this is very disturbing knowing that you have no mo security as anyone with key can come in. Small hotel with no lobby inside a desolate small mall..very downgraade No toiletries..no toothbrush or conditioner or body lotion..only 2 types of liquid in shower but no label to say if its shampoo or just soap. The shower water pressure was so low that it took long time to have shower as water was only dripping and kept going cold. There is black mould and mildew growing in big amount in the shower and they don't clean it. The furniture and carpet and bedding all very poor condition with holes in sheets. The ac was very poor and we suffered so much for 2 days then they cleaned the filters and this improved it. The wifi is weak and on and off We ask for room cleaning but the cleaners don’t come for 2 days..there is no coffee or sugar or milk/whitener in the room..just 2 tea bags. When we asked the cleaners said no..not available. The cleaners came 2 times only and both times didn't clean the tea cups nor did they vacuum the floor for the whole week. There are many much better hotels in same area ..don’t waste your money here. The breakfast is in the adjoining mall shared by other hotels and the pork and non halal food is put with the halal food so muslim people were all taking pork not knowing it was non halal as they didn’t put any label. When l asked the staff they said it was not halal . They put label for everything..olives chocolate, jam but when we asked them politely to put label for the non halal they refused..l told them all Muslim people in restaurant ( wearing hijaab) have taken pork because you didn’t label they still said its the guests fault because they should ask. I told them they assume its halal unless its clearly labelled. I told a couple of guests that the item was not halal and the restaurant manager Ghalib called the police saying l cant speak to other guests..why..l am telling them its not halal because that is what the manager told me..and since he refused to label it l am telling my fellow hijaab ladies but he said you broke the law by telling other guests and called the police..the police said the guests must ask staff themselves if food is halal..this is nonsense..no one can stop me from talking to anyone..instead of apologising and putting non halal label on food they call the police..they don’t care that muslims are eating pork because the restaurant doesn’t put label. The manager said no other hotel puts label but this is false..the hotels do put non halal in muslim counties and even in baku..and it doesnt take much effort to put label..their tourism is mostly muslim people and they don’t care about this most important aspect. This is a big shame to treat guests like this and this hotel must be avoided at all costs.

If you look for hotel with best location, I recommended here. As it's located in the heart of Nizami street. Brilliant location. Room, acceptable. I don't expect much for 2-3 stars hotel. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast, personally I love their breakfast. Variety wise is ok, but all of them taste good. So, I strongly recommended for those travelers who's looking for hotel to explore the city. Oh, if you are light-sleep person, don't choose here.. as it located in the tourist loud area. Whole night, noise pollution happened here. Even 3-4am police car still open silen and beep the horn. So be aware of this.

Breakfast having various items with flies and mosquitoes in big army around the food, everything was open, not covered specially jams. the stuff could see the condition very clear but no one bothered to do anything. Muslim people to be very careful because food included pork with no labels of Halal and non Halal food, when I told the manager name (his is Ghalib) they should labeled the food he was very rude and called the police and they supported him if I make any more disturbing they will take me to police station. The funny thing is they labeled some food like this cheese, olives, salad etc etc but nothing on the food contain pork like salami and eggs with salami. Only good thing about this hotel is very close to center and Nizami street. Cleanliness was awful, internet was a joke and not secure at all and having very weak protocol like they inviting hackers to login and access your data, so better be very careful using their wifi network. Bathroom is a disaster with mould in the walls and very weak water flow so Minimum shower time is 1.30 hours. The manager was very arrogant and rude and not taking customers point in nice manner or politeness. Instead of he apologizing and putting small labels on the food which could end the whole issue he called the police to take an action against me. They put labels on all other food except for the food contain pork which mean they intentionally forcing Muslim people to eat non halal food.

I've had the worst experience ever during my stay at this hotel. 1) The woman at the reception is very rude with a very thick ****** attitude. 2)they did not accept card payment 3)I had a big group and we had booked 6 rooms, we were all tired and I asked her to let the group in while I go and get my money exchanged, she flat out refused to let us in before getting paid, though I showed her the USD I had and also offered to take one of her staff along. She gestured with her hand"mobey first" 4)got her the USD and she didn't give me my receipt stating she had an issue with her system, and when I insisted I wanted the receipt she said"I'm the receipt "pointing to herself. 5)The rooms were very poorly maintained especially the bed sheets and the pillows appeared unwashed and were old. 6)The worst: We booked our rooms with breakfast, and when we exited the elevator on our way to our rooms saw a board directing us to the restaurant. We were told that breakfast timing would be at 10:00 AM, though it was very late we agreed. The next morning a part of our group went ahead to the restaurant and had their buffet breakfast, only to be told later that this breakfast is not included as part of our booking. We were told later when we inquired that the breakfast would be served in our rooms and the restaurant was not part of the hotel, that was the most ridiculous experience for all of us. I paid for the breakfast for the part of the group who had eaten at the restaurant and the rest of is waited for our breakfast to be served at our rooms. What was brought to us was a JOKE, cold omlette with a couple of slices of bread along with some cheese. 7)That same lady pushed my kids out of the elevator when they were entering it since she wanted to use the elevator and didn't want them to accompany her. I showed them my displeasure and the hotel staff apologised when I threatened them to take them to the police. That woman was nowhere to be seen. We cut short our stay there immediately. Most nigh**arish experience of all of my travel stories.
