Amazing
GGuest UserBooked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative. The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived. I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

AAli_101The Airbnb was clean and had everything we needed from lots of towels to extra garbage bags. The host is very responsive and ensured a very smooth transition into the home and was clear every step along the way. Based on if someone has the home booked he is very lenient as well! The location is honestly perfect if you’d like a casual street to the night life aspect. House is very quiet as well I don’t think I ever heard the family on the upper level. Thank you very much for letting us stay at the perfect home and will definitely recommend this to others.

NNgMoonI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

AAnonymous UserReally nice suite, perfectly situated in downtown Toronto within walking distance of Union Station. My room was organized into a living room, bedroom, and bathroom, and it had the feel of being an upscale apartment rather than just a hotel room.

Bbethzhang1Overall, the room was good; however, housekeeping wasn't proactive and only came when called. The facilities were a bit old, and the closet with the ironing board couldn't accommodate longer clothes.

GGuest UserThe service of W Hotel is better than that of Sydney and Melbourne. There is a Chinese front desk. Check-in is also very fast. It can be checked in at a little after 1 o'clock! When I arrived at the hotel, it was far away to get the luggage, and they came to help me. It was very active. This is better than other overseas hotels! But the room is decorated in an open bathroom. The socket is not working. The toothbrush delivery is very slow. No one delivered it all night. There is no swimming pool. The hotel windows should be cleaned again. The windows cannot be opened. The breakfast is very exquisite! The size is the mini version of W Hotel in Sydney and Melbourne, but W Hotel is considered new abroad. Other hotels are too old. It is still a choice.

GGuest UserThe stay in Canopy was good overall - The hotel was quiet and clean. The wifi was good. Also, close to a metro station of Sherbourne. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and prompt to address the requirement I need. Our room type was ”two queen beds room”, it's adequate in size with a clean and bright, minimalist swedish design that i found quite appealing. i must admit i was a little disappointed by the lack of any view - just the windows of the neighboring apartment building. My favorite amenities were the drawer refrigerator, which was big enough for putting the stuffs what we bought but of course there are your standard amenities too - espresso maker, electric tea kettle. I should also mention that there's a glass bottle available for water that you need to fetch out in the lobby of the floor, where the water dispenser is. It's no inconvenience at all but it's environmentally friendly.

Kkimi_cheThe Shanghai auntie at the front desk was so kind and let us check in early. The service was incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The restaurant service was fantastic, especially the bacon and potato hash. The hotel is located right in the heart of Toronto, making it easy to walk to all the popular attractions. Plus, there's a big supermarket on either side of the hotel.

GGuest UserThe location is great, among shops and restaurants. The lobby is quite small, with only a couple of couches to sit. There is a restaurant and bar in the restaurant as well, with tables and chairs but the division is not as clear between what is lounge area for hotel guests and restaurant seatings. We were waiting for our room to be serviced and my husband sat at a table to do some work on the labtop and only about 20% of the restaurant had customers with the remaining tables empty. He was approached by a couple of waitstaff and he explained that he's there to do some work and didn't want to order any food. At which point, a manager approached him and asked him to move to the sofa area and not occupy a table and he did and then the manager approached him again, asking what room are we staying in as well as other details. There's not much work/lounge space in the area at all. I feel that they could have let him sit at a table, considering many of the tables were not occupied. I've seen people sit there on a previous day with their laptops and not order anything. So it was kind of unpleasant that that happened. Also, our room had absolutely no natural light, which made it very depressing. I don't know if I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Toronto.
