Toronto Hotels with balcony

Stepping inside, it immediately felt like coming home. I was greeted in Chinese, a welcome and long-missed feeling after being away for so long. The hosts were incredibly warm and even offered me some delicious stuffed flatbread. We chatted, and I even managed to do my laundry. The best part was finding a running store, Running Room, right outside the door – a place I'd been searching for ages! I was thrilled to get a new pair of running shoes. Staying at a B&B offers a completely different experience compared to a hotel. The room was so comfortable; it was the best night's sleep I've had in days. If I had to pick a con, it would be that there's only one, rather small, bathroom. It so happened that a friend came to meet me and was waiting outside while I urgently needed to use the restroom. However, an elderly gentleman was in there, and I had to wait for what felt like a very long time, probably about 10-15 minutes. Besides that, everything was absolutely perfect!

Very comfortable and housekeeping is very good. The down stair LANO restaurant is the best place to have a cup of coffee, there are all kind and nice waitresses and waiters. The TOCA restaurant offers the best breakfast options in everyday. It’s a great 8days staying memory.

There was a constant noise coming from the toilet that prevented us from getting any rest. Even though a technician came, he couldn't fix it. However, everything else was fine. We had a good stay!

The cleanliness was subpar; it felt like the room hadn't been cleaned thoroughly, and there were even stains on the duvet. On the plus side, the breakfast was good, and the location was excellent, just a 5-minute walk to Union Station with plenty of dining options nearby.

This was my second stay at the W. Overall, it was just alright. It's located on Bloor Street, but the biggest issue was how difficult it was to find the entrance to the W. However, it was a significant improvement from my last visit, as most of the renovations have now been completed.

The parking, although costing, could not have been more convenient. The location was also outstanding, being so close to the CN-Tower and many restaurants. The unit was great and I'm so glad i requested an upper floor with a balcony as the weather was nice and we sat out there many times, day and night. So nice having two bathrooms and the extra bedroom for extra space. Very well appointed as well. I left to go to the hockey game and realized I had left my key in the room and I was freaked as I didn't know how I'd get back in, as the rental company is not onsite. I got in touch with them and they reminded me that it must be unlocked as the key is need to lock the door from the exterior. Stupid me didn't remember that so disaster averted, although the unit was unlocked. The concierge did go up to make sure it was indeed unlocked and untouched to their eyes. I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of prior communication regarding the check-in procedure. Upon arrival, we entered the loby area, and we were welcomed by the security officer who explained to contact the company for instructions which included sending photos of my ID along with a separate image of me holding it. After paying a deposit, we were finally granted access to the apartment. This process took nearly an hour, and we were surprised to find that our unit was located on the 48th floor of the tower. While this didn’t bother us, it would have been helpful to know in advance, especially for those who suffer from vertigo. Reliable Wi-Fi is essential, as a lack of connectivity can be quite problematic. The apartment itself was small and cosy, offering impressive views of the CN Tower. However, upon our arrival, the driver was still drying towels and bedding, which I found to be inappropriate. The small balcony had very dirty glass that had not been cleaned, and the kitchen was not entirely tidy. Additionally, the bedroom carpet was heavily stained, and we were required to remove our shoes. Upon checking out, we had to take out the trash and wash the towels, bedding, and dishes, which consumed another hour of our time. I couldn't help but wonder what the cleaning staff was doing. It’s worth noting that a deposit was taken, and failure to adhere to the rules would result in its forfeiture. Although I generally avoid complaining, We felt overwhelmed by the expectations, especially after paying for our vacation. Furthermore, if extending the stay for a few additional hours, there is a significant extra charge. The elevators were consistently busy, and during our departure, the security personnel in the concierge area were rather rude, insisting we leave the lobby despite the presence of chairs and tables. We simply wanted to arrange our next ride without having to do so on the street. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but the apartment could benefit from more thorough cleaning, and the rules could be more accommodating for guests.

The location of the facility was very good. It was too hard to get the key to check in and park, and the explanation was not sufficient. It was not easy to return the key when checking out.

First of all, thank you for the free upgrade. The views from both the bedroom and the living room were excellent, and the space was large enough for a group of friends to relax, especially with the poker and foosball tables. The location is also great, right in downtown. However, the shower amenities could be improved, particularly the shampoo and body wash, and the toothpaste looked quite messy (fortunately I brought my own). The soundproofing is also not ideal, as I could hear the couple in the next room talking, and I felt a bit uncomfortable using the bathroom and blow‑drying my hair after coming back late from a concert. The check‑in time is quite rigid at 4 p.m., although they do allow you to delay check‑in until 7:30 p.m. I was initially confused because I waited for over 10 minutes at the original building (before the upgrade) and wasn’t sure if the receptionist would come to pick me up. Once we met, though, the receptionist was very friendly and clearly explained the amenities and check‑out procedures. Overall, despite the strict rules and minor issues, I really liked the room and had a happy stay.

I want to start by saying how happy I am that the host let us check in an hour earlier since it starts at 5pm instead of the regular 3pm. This is an Airbnb type of place that requires you to put a $450 deposit for a one night stay which I thought it was very high. The location is amazing, walking distance to the CN tower and restaurants. It is a very cute place except for the cleanliness. The place was DIRTY. We decided to not use the shower because it was full of mold and hair (picture attached), there was hair everywhere! We saw there was a washer and dryer but the washer was full of towels that yet needed to be dry so we decided not to use. There were stains in the bed sheets so we decided to lay some of our own towels on top to sleep. We also decided to not touch the kitchen because the burner was broken and we did not want to cause a fire or something like that. Over all, it was decent for a one night stay but they need to fire the cleaner because I believe it is an easy fix to be a better place to stay.
