"If you are looking for a fancy hotel with a lot of amenities this is not it. But if you want a comfortable, clean, nice room in a quirky neighborhood with friendly and helpful staff, at a good price, then I recommend Ode. the owner and her staff were very helpful and made sure I had whatever I needed. The room was very nice and had character, spacious, with a nice bathroom."

Considering it's a hostel, the bed creaked every time I moved, which made me feel a bit self-conscious. It was a blizzard that day, and the staff were wonderful for letting me stay even before check-in. Aside from the outdated facilities, it seems like a good place for a short stay.

Upintheairaccommodated well for driving. Plenty parking lots. The staff was so helpful and very willing to provide assistance. Cookie is good. No Safe for property in room but the microwave in room really good for me having night snacks habits. btw , Tim Hortons just right next to the inn, you can enjoy your coffee anytime you want to.

If you are looking for a clean comfortable bed, a bathroom with a shower, and a small kitchen very close to everything at a reasonable price, this is the place to be. It's not the Ritz by any stretch of the imagination, but it does the job.
The check-in staff was courteous and helpful.
Next time I am in Toronto, I will definitely book at the Dragon Gate Inn.
