Libo Hotels with Bars

Of all the places I visited on this trip, Libo was the most satisfying. Before coming to Guizhou, I rarely chose guesthouses, whether for business or leisure, because the quality of a guesthouse really tests the owner's ability and character, including key aspects such as cleanliness, price, and reasonable room conditions. Yu She's rooms were excellent in terms of layout and cleanliness, the view from the windows was beautiful, and the common areas were well-equipped and well-furnished. I really liked the wet rice noodles for breakfast. Getting around, taking taxis, and finding restaurants nearby were all very convenient. It was also very quiet at night, which was great for light sleepers. I'm very grateful to the owner for the complimentary bayberry soup. I will definitely visit Libo again if I have the chance!

Super location. 3 mins walk to restaurants & Xiaoqikong Scenic. Love the modern Chinese decor. Home stay Boss is warm & friendly, helpful in giving advice to Xiaoqikong. Room is bright & spacious, 3 seater sofa, study table chair, tea area, open concept bath tub, toilet bowl with auto flush, seat warmer, bidget. Cleanliness 10/10. Probably the newest & nicest home stayin that area. Highly recommend

The room was quite spacious, and the public facilities were well-equipped. Upon check-in, we received complimentary welcome fruit, afternoon tea, and a late-night sweet soup. We even got a souvenir upon check-out. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, always ready to assist with anything, including providing travel tips and luggage service, which was truly impressive. The 24-hour online service group made communication convenient at any time. The staff were warm and friendly, paying close attention to detail, making both check-in and check-out processes smooth. The Yao bath specialty service added an extra layer of comfort.

The hotel is pretty good. They offer shuttle service for business guests to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, and in the evenings, there's even a Yao-style foot bath. The rooms are generally quite simple. On the top floor, there's a small swimming pool and an observation deck, among other things. The mountain-side Yao bath wasn't open, probably because there aren't many guests right now. The complimentary BBQ was quite good.

The place is beautiful and everything in the room was so modern and comfortable. The manager even picked us up from nearby location when we didn’t get a cab. The food was also customised to suit preferences. I wish I had more time, I’d love to stay for more days. The whole team was so hospitable and helpful. Whatever we needed was arranged as per requirement. I miss the kids of the family so much. Highly recommend the place and will definitely come back in future. Family Experience and Feelings: Advantages: 1. Excellent location next to the ancient city. 2. The rooftop swimming pool is quite nice with a wide view. 3. The staff were very attentive and provided good service, but the products and details didn't live up to the price. 4. The hotel has a light luxury design with a nice bar atmosphere. 5. The breakfast was delicious and nutritionally balanced, with freshly cut fruit and freshly ground coffee available in the morning. 6. The complimentary gift of wine and small tea packets was a thoughtful touch. 7. High-speed rail shuttle service was provided, but we didn't use it. Disadvantages: 1. The location is average; there are no views from the rooms, as it's located in a corner on the edge of the ancient city. 2. The fruit and pastries served initially weren't fresh. 3. The room design is unreasonable; the bathroom glass in the standard room and family room is semi-transparent. 4. There's no extra place to hang clothes in the room, and the electrical outlets are unstable. The air conditioner switch is conveniently located in the middle of the bed; it's very hot when you enter, and you have to run to the bed to turn it on. The room lacks smart home features, unlike other rooms costing around 200 yuan. 5. The foot bath basin was tiny, the herbal medicine packet was also tiny, and the water they delivered was probably boiling water; I almost got scalded. I had to add cold water until it was almost overflowing before I could soak my feet. Compare that to the huge packet from Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village.

Perfect for a family getaway. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and their service was exceptionally thoughtful. We had a child with us, and they didn't charge extra for the food our little one ordered. Overall, it offers great value for money. The package included afternoon tea, a Yao ethnic group bath, and a barbecue in the evening. Staying in the courtyard made time feel like it slowed down, and enjoying a barbecue and a drink in the evening was incredibly relaxing. It’s ideal for escaping the city.

Great stay at this lovely BnB. The rooms are modern and very spacious. Breakfast showcases local speciality noodles that are paper thin and very fresh. Highlight for me was the coffee provided with breakfast. Made in barista style, rich and strong, a perfect cuppa to start my day! The proprietor and her team are super friendly and helpful. We would recommend this accommodation and this town to anyone visiting the region.

My stay at Shanheyue's Balcony Twin Room exceeded my expectations! The room was spacious, the two beds were large enough, the bedding was clean and soft, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. It has a private balcony with panoramic views of the mountains and forests of Libo. During the day, I could sit on the balcony and relax, enjoying the breeze and daydreaming, and in the evening, I could watch the mountain mists – the atmosphere was truly immersive. The entire room was impeccably clean, the bathroom was dry and tidy, and the hot water was consistently available. The guesthouse is very close to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, and the owner was incredibly welcoming, providing thoughtful arrangements for pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing suggestions, making my trip very convenient. This is a great choice for families or groups of friends traveling together; it offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth staying at when visiting Libo!

The location is a bit out of the way, about a 15-minute walk from the ancient town. The hotel looks quite new, but the service doesn't quite match up. The room is spacious, with two beds, one upstairs and one downstairs. There was a strong smell of renovation when we entered. Food delivery isn't allowed directly to the room; you have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself. Breakfast was a bit simple.
