One of the best home stays we have stayed at in our lives. So clean and nice and everything thought off. Ozgur our host was a remarkable gentleman who guided and took care of us every step of the way. It was just a brilliant stay. Rooms were large and perfect. Wish we had stayed longer but hopefully another time. The only issue would be the location for those without their own transport as it is away from town in the hills. But if u do have ur own transport u will not find anything as good as this in perhaps all of Türkiye. We are on a road trip and I can guarantee u will not be disappointed here. We stayed in July 2025. Hopefully they keep it this way. Fantastic breakfast freshly served and made for each guest. It just doesn’t get better. Lugga Boutique Hotel & Beach — A Little Slice of Paradise If you’re looking for the perfect Bodrum escape, look no further than Lugga Boutique Hotel & Beach. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. Our room was beautifully appointed — comfortable, stylish, and the kind of space you genuinely don’t want to leave. The balcony made it even better, giving us a lovely spot to wind down at the end of each day. The beach and pool area were simply stunning. Crystal-clear water, sun loungers at the ready, and an atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between lively and relaxed. We spent most of our days here and never once wanted to be anywhere else. Breakfast deserves a special mention — it was an absolute highlight. Fresh, generous, and lovingly put together every morning. The authentic traditional Turkish tea served at the table was a true delight, and the simit — that gorgeous sesame-crusted bread — became my personal favourite way to start the day. What truly elevates Lugga above other hotels is the people. This is a family-run hotel, and you feel it in every interaction. The warmth here isn’t rehearsed — it’s genuine. The hand-made Turkish coffee offered at reception was an unexpectedly lovely touch, the kind of small gesture that stays with you long after you’ve checked out. We left already talking about coming back. Lugga isn’t just a hotel — it’s an experience. Highly, highly recommend. The check-in process was smooth and the reception staff were very professional and well-organized 👌. The cleanliness in the corridors was excellent ✨. We had originally booked a garden-view villa with a pool, but the staff kindly upgraded us to a larger and more beautiful sea-view villa 🌊, with a very generous discount 💰 — definitely a great gesture that deserves recognition. When we arrived at the villa, everything was beyond expectations: absolute peace and quiet 🕊️, comfort 😌, cleanliness ✨, and a stunning view 🌴. The overall atmosphere was luxurious and dreamy 🌟. Some constructive notes: • The food prices felt too high 🍽️, especially considering such bookings should ideally include more meals like other luxury resorts. • The resort was extremely quiet 😴 — while that’s relaxing, it would be great to add some fun activities or light entertainment 🎶 to make the experience more complete. Overall, it was a truly luxurious stay, with friendly staff and an unforgettable atmosphere. Highly recommended 🌟.

The room is quite spacious, well-designed and smell nice. The staffs at the hotel were very friendly and always asked if everything’s okay. However, I still felt like the hotel wasn’t fully ready for the customers. The breakfast option is only Turkish breakfast with eggs. If you plan to stay for 4 days or more, you’ll definitely get tired of it even though I liked the cheese plates with honeycombs so much. I wish the hotel add some more options for guests. Also, the hotel is quite far from everything if you take a taxi to the marina, it would be quite pricy unless you go with a big group of people and no place to eat, only at the hotel restaurant which is super pricey. But, it will be nice if you want to escape the crowd as it was really peaceful. The beach was clean and the water was crystal clear which is a plus. The worst part was just a slow service and they always forgot to put bottle of water every time they cleaned my room and I always had to ask for it ,so on our last night, we didn’t ask cause it was to tiring to just keep asking for water. Moreover, the water is only complimentary two bottles per day which was very weird for the 5 stars hotel.

Reception is attentive and client oriented. Paid upgrade to Garden view (to get king bed instead of twin bed) was not worth it. Breakfast very good and restaurant Attiko top notch. Although tried to reserve Folie Beach sunbeds in advance, got as hotel guest only on a waiting list. Quiet embarrassing. Hotel’s own beach sunbeds are not so comfy and too close to Holiday Inn’s beach.

I had the most amazing stay at the hotel. I was welcomed by a very kind gentleman who made sure that I was satisfied with my room and arranged my transportation to locations I wanted to go too. The hotel is very clean with amazing views of the Yalikavak Town. Very close to ocean front restaurants and also the Marina. I can’t recommend this place enough. Not to mention the breakfast which was included, absolutely amazing. I’m so grateful to the stuff, they were amazing and I’m coming back soon!

The hotel is a bit tired. We stayed in an apartment, which was quite large and had everything we needed. We could request dishwasher and washing machine supplies at reception, where the lady working there was very nice—a special thank you! But the furniture, plumbing, and spa area are in serious need of renovation. The breakfasts were okay, but nothing special. The location was important to us; there's probably no better hotel nearby. The spa area has a warm pool, which is nice in November because all the other open ones are either very cold or closed. We drove, and there's underground parking. The hotel is okay, but for the money, we've had better in Turkey. Perhaps after the renovations, it will be better, but we're unlikely to return if we ever return to Bodrum.

The hotel is in a very good location. The amenities and offerings at the hotel are great. Drinks, including alcohol and cocktails, are available at the bars. Aside from the main meals, Gozleme is made fresh between the hotel and the pool, and there is a fast-food restaurant between the pool and the beach. The food isn't top-tier, but it is very decent. The pools are excellent and are the most beautiful part of the hotel. The beach is 20 meters from the pool and is okay. The rooms are the weakest part of the hotel, and by Croatian standards, the hotel is realistically a 3-star property. In that regard, it is quite modest. The staff is helpful, accommodating, and friendly. If you are expecting a 5-star European hotel, you might be disappointed. However, it is actually good value for money.

To be honest, the stay was okay, given the lack of complete cleanliness, whether in the room floor, bed linen, or bathroom sink. There was a very small, old-fashioned screen, and the air conditioner in the room was weak and had to be left on for a while to cool down. In addition, the main food items offered in the restaurant were limited to only two main dishes, and frankly, they were not of the expected quality. Also, the cleanliness of the eating utensils, knives, forks, and plates was very poor, showing signs of fading and rust. There was only one cleaning lady working alone to clean the rooms, which delayed her arrival to the neighboring rooms and prolonged the guests' wait. The situation was truly disgusting. However, the only positive thing was the kind way the hotel staff treated me.

Overall the hotel was good. Location is good, in a nice bay and easy access to Bodrum with the bus. The room with sea view in the main building was in a good condition and clean, compared to other reviews noting worn out rooms. The bed sheets were however worn out from use, they need to be replaced. Food was average, the best part were salads, meat options were repetitive and not that good, other than on a special occasion. Service was very average, at peak times as a guest I had to clean my own table and take my own cutlery. I was only few times offered a drink and mainly not. Some staff down speak much English. Not really a proper 5 star hotel but is good compared to the price paid. Full of families with small children.
