Lansdown Grove Hotel
"What a lovely hotel. So clean with accommodating restaurant staff. Our room was spacious and clean and had the most amazing view. The bed was a little small and our radiator was stuck on despite it being a heatwave. We did make staff know but we’re told it wasn’t on…. It truly was!"
No.15 by guesthouse bath
"The room is actually nice and quite big. There is a living room and a bedroom. Our room faces north, facing the big tree and the house on the mountain in the distance. Both windows can be opened. There are no gauze curtains, only curtains, but the house opposite is not facing is actually okay. The bathroom is very clean, with typical German-style bathroom facilities, wall-mounted toilets, beige tiles, large bathtubs and showers, and a hot towel rack for plumbing. Simple and practical. Facilities: There is no refrigerator in the room, so there is a pantry on the second floor, which has a refrigerator and some free soda, milk, popcorn, and fruit. Two bottles of mineral water are given in the room. After drinking, you can go to the pantry's filtered water facility to fill new ones. Hygiene: The sanitation is okay, at least the bathroom is cleaned very clean. I saw that the bed was made when I came back at night, but they didn't help fold the clothes, which is different from Asian hotels. Service: The hotel bar is very good, a pot of tea is only 4 pounds, and the breakfast is also delicious, so you don't have to go out for breakfast. The service staff are also very enthusiastic. The location is very good, it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the station. Bath itself is very small, so it is close to everything. Overall, it is a good choice to stay in Bath, at least this hotel does not require climbing a slope. 😂"
The Z Hotel Bath
"This hotel in Bath offers excellent value for money. It's just a few minutes' walk from Bath's main street, making it a very central location. Being so close to the main street means easy access to all sorts of restaurants, supermarkets, and Bath's main attractions (the Abbey, Roman Baths, River Avon) – all within walking distance. The main draw is definitely the affordable price, which really makes it great value. The room was a bit small, but it had all the necessary amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend!"
Old Mill Hotel & Lodge
"The bed was comfortable and amazing. Although the carpet could be renewed. And all the furniture to either be old antique or 21st century, not 1 million years old that makes your room look a bit untidy the bathroom was great"
Apex City of Bath Hotel
"It was my birthday and it’s worth it. Room with beautiful Birthday decoration gives you awesome vibes."
Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel
"Amazing spa facilities, huge room and delicious food. Beautiful location and super friendly staff. Would highly recommend."
Hotel Indigo BATH by IHG
"Very good for the price and location"
Oldfields House
"Room was lovely, bed was very comfortable. There was a beautiful view out of the window. Breakfast was fantastic. We’d definitely stay again!"
Travelodge Bath Central
"Absolutely shocking do not waste your time and money staying here. We stayed for two nights and had many issues. The whole hotel from the stairwell to the rooms is filthy, we stayed for two nights so saw it over three days and no cleaning or maintenance was done. We had to change rooms, both ended up being as bad as each other. The shower gel holder was empty and broken. The kettle dirty inside and out. The bed linen was dirty and stained. The hotel lift was broken. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling over the bed. Old dental floss on the floor and sideboard. Coffee stairs on the desk. Long hairs on every surface around the room. Spent far too long up and down to reception to try and deal with things and they were extremely un interested. It gave me no confidence to stay with Travel lodge ever again and I was really advise everyone else to think the same. Still trying to resolve the issue with Travel Lodge as they just want to give you vouchers to stay with them again which I couldn’t think of anything worse. Definitely avoid!"

Dukes Bath
"Not quite as good an experience as we would have expected. When we arrived we were advised we had been upgraded to a better room, great! We were given the Grafton Room. What we were not told is that the upgraded room was on the second floor (four flights of long stairs), next to a room which was being renovated. There were tools and a ladder outside our door so we could hear banging and dull thuds from within our own room for long periods. The room was okay, no real view, it was missing a fan, so we had to go and report that and there was a down light hanging out from the shower area with an exposed wire, not exactly safe! This hotel is not cheap and so we feel it was not worth what we paid."
The Roseate Villa Bath
"The room is large, the decoration is new, the environment is good"
The Gainsborough Bath Spa
"My daughter and I had a lovely time at the spa. Wish we could stay longer to try the F&B outlets. Would be wonderful if toothbrush can also be provided. Service was great and staff were attentive."
The Bath Priory - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel
"Satisfied, the environment is great"
Homewood Hotel & Spa - Small Luxury Hotels of the World
"This hotel is so lovely, we wanted some peace and relaxation and it couldn’t have been more perfect, the spa area is gorgeous really relaxing, the hotel room was gorgeous very spacious and the bed was very comfortable, it was my husbands birthday and there was some lovely truffles and card in room. The grounds are beautiful, only thing I would say was the breakfast was really expensive more than our evening meal £30 which is really expensive I think. But all in all lovely ☺️"
Francis Hotel Bath
"The hotel was immaculate. It just missed a little on housekeeping issues. Bags delivered to wrong room, soap and lotion dispensers not refilled. But overall VG. Dining room in the evening was exceptional. Staff could not have been more attentive. Deserts a little plain. Breakfast good vfm. Staff not at the same standard as night before."
Grosvenor Apartments in Bath - Great for Families, Groups, Couples, 80 sq m, Parking
"Fab accomodation. The apartment was beautiful and fit for purpose. 7 friends stayed and it was very comfortable and spacious for us. Host was very informative and efficient. Great value for money. Close to Bath centre and other amenities."
The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa
"A visit to Bath is incomplete without a trip to the Royal Crescent. The rooms are comfortable, the service is excellent, the restaurant serves outstanding food, and the spa is fantastic! While the price is high, it's well worth it."
Best Western Limpley Stoke Hotel
"Had stayed there many years ago. It was still as brilliant as last time. I would highly recommend it when visiting Bath."
Henrietta House, A Member of Radisson Individuals
"The breakfast was good, and the restaurant staff were very friendly – unfortunately, that’s the only real advantage of this hotel. When we arrived, we were first given a room in a different building, located on the underground floor. It was dark, damp, cold, and felt more like a cave than a hotel room. We asked if there were any alternatives and were then moved to a room on the third floor of the main building. This clearly showed that other rooms were available, but the reception manager initially tried to give us the worst one. As an apology, we were offered complimentary prosecco, which confirmed that the staff recognized their mistake (though we don’t drink alcohol). The new room was better, but still far from great. Overall, the hotel did not feel like a true four-star property."
Bathen House Boutique Hotel
"Very good hotel, two or three miles away from the center of Bath. The bathroom of the hotel is very large, and the large stainless steel bathtub amazed me. The refrigerator and mini bar in the room provide a variety of free drinks and candies and biscuits, which is very considerate. The self-service bar in the public area is also very distinctive, and the decoration is also very beautiful. It is a very recommended hotel. The only thing that needs to be improved is that the room is quite large, enough to choose a wider bed. The bed width written on Ctrip is 1.8 meters, but it is actually only 1.5 meters, and the King size bed here is 1.5 meters. I guess Ctrip made a mistake."
Abbey Hotel Bath, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
"I wish they could get their heating/Aircon system to work. 2nd stay in as many years and same issue both times. And beware if you stay on the side near the Huntsman -who would think that a Monday night last call would be so loud??? Lovely to see Temple Spa in the bathroom though"
