Lower Normandy Beach Hotels

The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the train station. There are many crepe shops nearby, but since most people stop there to see Mont Saint-Michel, it's recommended to make reservations for popular restaurants in advance. Getting to Mont Saint-Michel from here requires a bus ride of about twenty minutes. The hotel reception has a bus timetable; just ask the staff. Because it's an older building, the floors and stairs are carpeted, so guests with mobility issues should be careful. The small courtyard is lovely; you can dine there on a nice day. The staff are very polite, speak fluent English, and are happy to help. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it was very clean and overlooks the courtyard. There's nothing particularly outstanding, but it's excellent value for money for a one- or two-night stay.

Excellent stay! The hotel was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was fantastic, a rare find in Europe. Plus, there's a bus stop right outside, and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it super convenient. Thank you!

The location is the best. It's the first hotel before the bridge to Mont Saint-Michel and the shuttle bus service that takes you there is just outside the hotel. This room on the first floor had a view of barrage, it's clean and functional, but looks really tired and dated. The room is really warm with the flat roof structure outside the windows trapping all the heat. We had 2 furbabies and it was great the hotel is pet friendly. Dinner with the halfboard option was pretty good but our preferred choice was not available due to a large tour group having dined before us. Breakfast had a good spread, with a splendid view of Mont Saint-Michel. It's really pricey for what it is.

The room was clean and tidy. There was nothing particularly good about it, but the staff were very friendly and, best of all, it was great that the square where you can see Mont Saint-Michel is just outside the hotel. There was also a bathtub, which, although shallow, is appreciated by Japanese people!

This time I chose to stay at the Auberge Saint Pierre Hotel. It is easy to find. Enter Mount Saint Michel and follow the main road to enter the city gate and walk to the storefront of 3-4. Outside the window is the mountain road that extends in all directions. The room is spacious and bright enough. The hot water for washing hands and the hot water for bathing in the bathroom are two pipes. The hot water for the shower is cold for 10 minutes, and the hot water for washing hands is second. Finally, you can wash your hair with the hot water of the wash basin. Then the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was full of people. The fish and lamb chops we ordered were not as delicious as the waiter recommended, and there was some stomach trouble afterward. It was not recommended for eating.

Great hotel, we didnt use the spa facilities but they looked amazing. Great breakfast, nice to see a vegan milk option not many places provide this. It was 18/9 and air con had been switched off as I assume they thought the heat of the summer was over, the room was really hot, they did provide us with a fan which helped a bit. We were ground floor so not keen on having a wide open window

It is a good hotel for those who is traveling to Normandy and have to stop for one-two nights. We had a very spacious room with dark wallpapers on the wall and with a balcony. Comfortable bed, coffee machine, sleepers (finally!!!) and two bath robes for me and my daughter. It is not new, you can notice it, however it was a very cozy environment. The hotel is in far from the beach, but close to the Hippodrome. Also, the were some shops and not expensive pharmacy near the hotel.

Not much to say … only good stuff! Nice welcome at reception when we checked in earlier than planned. We got touristic advice to go around and they kept our big suitcases. We unfortunately didn’t get parking as they were full.. all reserved (NB: trip.com never discussed that we had to book the parking, this is something Accor and Trip.com should discuss about as this is now our 2nd encounter of this problem…. Coming from Malaysia and renting a car, this is not helping… we had no idea we had to reserve parking) The bedroom was very nice, pretty balcony but small bathroom… especially given the placement of the toilet…. lol. But never mind. Nice deck of the bedroom and the hotel too… themed on Christian Dior and fashion, we liked that ☺️ Last the breakfast and its location: beautiful. The view of the sea is really good, the furniture is nicely chosen, and the food is good. First time I see a « make your sunny side up eggs yourself » set in a hotel, which was cool.

Next to the nearby free shuttle to Mont saint Michel which was very helpful and easy to commute too. The only problem is that to check in you have to go to another hotel which can be a bit of a hassle if you arrive early as well as once you check in at the other hotel which is one stop on the shuttle bus you can only leave your bags at the hotel instead of le saint aubert. Overall an okay experience and the lady working the breakfast buffet was nice enough to warm up my food 😊. (The picture is an image of one of the bus stops for the free bus shuttle)
