Jingyuan Courtyard Hotel

Twelve years later, I revisited the place, and the service is still as excellent as ever. The environment is beautiful, a peaceful oasis in the midst of a bustling area. Breakfast is freshly made, and it feels as warm as home. The facilities are also well-maintained.

Staying at Zuo Mansion Jingyuan was like fulfilling a dream of experiencing a traditional courtyard home. This hundred-year-old, three-courtyard residence, with its winding corridors, ancient trees, and rockeries, offers a tranquil escape amidst the bustling city. It's incredibly quiet at night. The Ming and Qing dynasty-style rooms come with modern bathrooms, feeling neither old-fashioned nor out of place. The auntie's freshly prepared breakfasts are different every day. It's super close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City on foot, and Jin Yu Hutong Station on Line 8 is right outside. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. I'd love to come back again if I have the chance.

Traveling with seniors and a child, the owner was incredibly kind and upgraded our room, even providing complimentary fruit. The hotel breakfast was excellent and varied, and the environment and cleanliness were also top-notch. Highly recommended! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Beijing.

The hotel's unique feature is its traditional courtyard style, and it's located right in the bustling city center. However, the room conditions are quite average.

The room layout was sensible, and it felt like we were really staying in a traditional courtyard house. The kids had a blast. The location is fantastic, with plenty of food options right outside, and it's a one-minute walk to the subway station, although we didn't use the subway this time since we were with the children.
