What a wonderful guest house, with fantastic terrace view's over the river and Gorica. The hosts gave us such a warm and friendly welcome, incuding some raki and homemade candied fruits. The room was a reasonable size and once again nice views across the river. Really comfortable bed. Breakfast on the terrace was a joy, what a lovely way to start the day. Breakfast was very good and if you love home made jams you are in for a treat. The castle is a steep fifteen minute climb up from Timo's but very doable. There are many restaurants on the doorstep and local the bus passes right outside to the main bus terminus. The owner even let us do a load of washing for a small extra charge. In summary, we are delighted that we chose Timo's for our two night stay in Berat.

Immersion in Albanian hospitality. Most gracious hosts in a spotless house with a beautiful view. Room was comfortable with crisp white sheets and towels. Traditional breakfast served in a beautiful terrace overlooking the river. Table was nicely set. Attention to detail is clearly seen all round. We highly recommend.

Such a lovely place to spend a night (or several!) with the kindest, most welcoming hosts I've ever met. We were greeted immediately with drinks and homemade jam and snacks. The rooms are so comfortable and cozy and the balcony is a real delight. The location is amazing and great for walkers. Would love to stay there again!

George and Maria are the best hosts. We were greeted with welcome drinks on the terrace and the hospitality never stopped. Rooms were comfortable and clean with an excellent shower. The view from the roof terrace is amazing and the breakfast was more than we could have asked for George gave us directions to the castle and we were given good restaurant recommendations Highly recommend as a place to stay but be aware parking is on the street below and you will have to carry bags up to the guesthouse
