Everything about this beautiful place was beyond our expectations. The staff and owners were fabulous while the views and location made this a truly wonderful experience. We hope to return in the not-too-distant future.

spacious excellent quality room with full room service dining if desired. very welcoming staff in a fabulous area. will definitely plan to return to explore the wonderful region and eucalyptus plantations in particular. red tuna steaks were superb and fresh as to be expected with Bermio just down the road. we followed the google maps route (as opposed to the recommended route from Bermio) and it was quite an exciting drive with lots of steep narrow hairpins and atmospheric close forest. Took the route out west to the BI 631 at Manuko Benta which was a very pleasant drive with less drama and less driving skill required than our route in via Busturi Axpe from the BI 2235. Only thing missing from Hotel was a swimming pool, however I guess that would lower the 'green credentials' considerably.

Hotel ESPECTACULAR!! Localización con mucho encanto, interior precioso conservando elementos de la construcción original. Habitaciones grandes y muy acogedoras, con un jacuzzi perfecto. Desayuno exquisito y personal muy amable!!

Beautiful setting. Room excellent - very comfortable bed, lovely shower, full jacuzzi in room - very roomy. Balcony with fabulous views. Breakfast very good with wonderful views to enjoy whilst eating. Excellent evening meal and charming service throughout.

This is a really fantastic place with an excellent service and very comfy rooms! We stayed for one night and it could not have been better. The dinner and the breakfast were very delicious. The hotel and the room give you a sense of luxury and the idyllic location in the Basque hills with sea view makes this experience unique. Highly recommended!!

We spent one night here on our way to the Bilbao ferry home. The hotel is amazing the surroundings beautiful and the staff very helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the night only wish we could have stayed longer.

Very serene and beautiful property. The room was stunningly gorgeous and the tub under the window with a blanket of stars was fantastic. The restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. Both lunch and dinner did not disappoint. A very worth visiting hotel.

Beautiful building - spacious and full of light and an imaginative conversion of old farm buildings. Peaceful rural location with stunning views down the mountains to the sea. Friendly and efficient owner and staff who create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Amazing bedroom - very large with beautiful old roof timbers and a fantastic covered verandah with views over the fields of sheep. Food,including the taster menu with wine pairing, is excellent. Exceptional stay.
