"The location of the property is perfect as a base for exploring the Engadine. The train station is literally within walking distance of a pedestrian crossing and very close there is also the small village grocery where you can find what you need including local products. The Upper Engadine card is very useful as it allows you to save a lot on transport by possibly only having to purchase tickets for areas not covered. Perfectly functional room with a delicious wood scent which also helps to induce sleep. The acoustic insulation from the outside is perfect. Large and very comfortable bed. Breakfast with not a huge choice but very good and often local products. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. It is definitely a facility I would like to return to."

"I moved to the HOTEL BERNINA after my husband had an accident whilst we were in Switzerland and broke his leg. This hotel is a 10 minute walking distance from the local hospital so was ideal for me for daily visits. I cannot thank all the staff highly enough during my stay. Each and every member from reception staff, to all the bar/restaurant were so attentive and available for our every need. When my husband was finally discharged they had provided a room with this in mind with excellent studio space and showering facilities to aid him and his recovery. I do not know what I would have done without their assistance. I can't recommend the staff and service highly enough, they were amazing. Breakfast itself is also an experience in the Grand reception room with live Pianist/music. Just beautiful. Views are also splendidly breathtaking! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality."

"We had two families stay at Hotel Donatz during Christmas week and we all had a fantastic time. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was incredibly delicious and the wine bar and restaurant were fabulous. The hotel location is on a quiet street, and close to the train station. We will all go back to Hotel Donatz in the future."
