I expected this hotel due to its rating to have a much better standard of cleanliness! I can only state that the room we stayed in was far from a high standard. The amount of dust on the skirting boards was diabolical and the room needed vacuuming it was just that I was on a coach trip otherwise I’d have left immediately.. even the leisure area needed a good scrub. The waiting on staff were fantastic though that’s about all I can say. Just don’t be vegetarian you’d starve

Dirty rooms filthy pool jacuzzi not working. Stone cold breakfast dirty rooms rubbish swept under cabinets coffee stains on walls an doors with broken amenities. Staff not helpful or polite. Definitely not worth the money they charge a night at all. Won't me back again

The Northfield is a traditional English converted house hotel. It has a great location, fabulous staff and a nice pool. The building is in need of modernisation. We stayed one night in a family room.

Warm welcome and lots of smiles. Nice room and Everything you need although a little dated but the view made up for it. Sea view and beyond across the bay all the way down to Butlins. Quiet , comfortable and large bed. Parking on site Swimming pool a bonus and small fitness room, sauna and hot tub which was out of order. The garden are lovely and well kept and in the summer it would be a delight to sit outside on the terrace. The evening meal was nice but limited choice and the evening ended quickly with last orders at 7.45. I think most guests go out for dinner. Breakfast fabulous - loved it . Cooked to order. Formal oak panelled dining room and a brighter conservatory. Table allocated for your stay. You can walk easily into town / beach. Mine head is fun and well worth a visit ; it’s not all about Butlins. Thank you for a lovely stay . We will be back.

Lovely lunch with really help full staff. We came looking for some food after coming off the steam train. for my husband's birthday . The lamb curry is delicious and everything is really reasonably priced. it didn't take too long to be served.

We have stayed here many times over the last 4 years and the staff, the food and the rooms have always been excellent. The staff are always so helpful and go above and beyond to help. The food is consistently lovely with plenty of choice.

Very helpful staff and good food. Good location. The hotel is a bit dated. The bar is not always very well stocked. I do not know what more I can say but I cannot post this review unless I write 200 characters which is ridiculous.
