Stopped here for four nights during the air show weekend this year. Myself, my wife and our 2 year old Stanley absolutely loved our stay. A friendly atmosphere along with everything you’d expect from a b and b in Blackpool. Nothing was too much trouble. A great little bar where we met some families on an evening and chatted the night away. An excellent breakfast in the morning in a clean and well presented dining area. The location is great as within 2 minutes your walking along the prom. A clean bedroom with everything you need from tea and coffee to a tv and comfortable beds. We enjoyed a few games on the free pool table and even bought back on a few occasions some food from outside establishments which was encouraged by the owner and he even provided plates and cutlery for us to use with no bother. Overall we’d highly recommend staying here especially as a family as Stanley was looked after exceptionally especially at breakfast when toddlers can be hard work. Very welcoming and would not hesitate to return the next time we roll in to Blackpool.

Overall a good hotel for the location and price (definitely the nicest looking along the street) included breakfast which I cannot fault, very flexible with orders, cheap bar which is open until gone 11pm most nights, male host is very polite and knowledgeable about the area. Free pool table aswell. Room was clean and had all the basics you’d expect from a hotel. Did hear a bit of noise from side street but it’s understandable when there’s roads all around and it’s a busy location. My only suggestions would be the bathroom we had could do with painting/ sealing around the bottom, Shower head and bin slightly rusty, maybe some signs on the doors/ walls up the stairs with numbers so you can find your room to begin with without checking every floor but once you know it’s fine. Also found out from other family staying in other rooms that there can be an issue with the hot water in the shower and you have to run hot tap for a while on sink first, again a sign to let us know would of been great. Overall we had a great stay and would return.

The hosts are lovely, the whole place is immaculately clean and our bedroom was spot on. The breakfast options were top notch too. I'm ambulatory disabled and managed really well but it's not wheelchair accessible though there are great options locally anyway if you need wheelchair access.

We had the room on the ground floor which was good. It was quite big and had everything we needed. Lots of tea, coffee and milk supplied. The breakfast was great, there was so much choice and you could have as much or as little as you wanted. The staff were lovely and Neil was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The only thing that was not so good was the shower as it had a folding door, which didn't fold for some reason, but at least there was a shower curtain so not such a problem and we managed well enough.

Excellent weekend stay at The Aberford Hotel. My mam and I came down to visit family and stayed for 3 nights. Very spacious twin bedroom that was clean and comfy. Breakfast was fabulous and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the front and around 10 mins walk to the tower. Very central to all attractions and trams. We would definitely stay again. Thankyou.

Had a lovely stay here. Neil and his wife were more than welcoming. The breakfast was beautiful and cooked how I like it. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was our lass set fire alarm off by making a cup of coffee at half past 6 this morning, so we came down for breakfast to a room full of happy guests 🤣. Thanks for being understanding Neil.

For the money you can’t fault the size of the rooms and the location is great. I don’t really have anything else positive to add. As soon as the hotel door opened we were hit by the musty smell of stale cigarette smoke. This followed us all the way up two flights of stairs. Thankfully our actual room didn’t smell too bad but once we got into bed we realised the bedding was damp and reeked of stale cigarettes too - someone smokes around the laundry. We stayed for two nights. Can’t comment on the breakfast as it wasn’t available until 8.30am and we had to be out at 8 each morning however we couldn’t have sat there eating with that smell anyway. Even my 8 year old complained about it. Just got home and emptied our cases and even our unworn things stink.

Great location and very convenient for the event we were attending on Central Pier. Neil was extremely friendly and welcoming, and we were able to check into our room as soon as we arrived, just after midday, when we arrived early and asked if we could drop off our bags, whilst we parked the car. Our room was larger than most Blackpool b&b's we've stayed in before and was clean and had everything we needed for our 2-night stay. The breakfast was lovely, with a good selection of cereals, toast and a full English breakfast. They also catered for my friend, who is gluten intolerant, and provided gluten free toast, which was very kind of them. (I did message beforehand, to ask if this was possible) Room had tea / coffee making facilities and there was a hairdryer in one of the drawers. Parking was on-street or at one of the several car parks nearby. We will definitely stay here again, the next time we visit Blackpool, if it's available.
