Will stay again The Headland is a quiet family run hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is lovely which is served in a beautiful dinning room. The hotel is lovely and clean. The beds are comfy which is a must in a hotel for a good nights sleep. Although a little updating may be needed this did not distract from our stay. There is plenty of free parking and the tram stop is just over the road.

Had everything we needed for our family stay. The breakfast was really nice with hot items cooked to order (I didn’t like the coffee much, but you can’t have everything 😊). The tram was just across the road to go further up to the piers and tower - they were about every 15 mins. The family enjoyed the balcony in the evening (my room was on the first floor and had a balcony) looking out at the sunset over the sea. The bar was a good place to meet as well and had a pool table, darts and lots of space.

The check-in was easy and pleasant with the friendly lady. My room on floor two is accessible by lift or stairs and the room was immaculately clean. Superb breakfast with quality ingredients. Will 100% stay again in this charming lovely hotel good location near a tram stop.

Stayed in many Hotels and have to say very pleasantly surprised of the quality of this establishment. Staff outstanding and food amazing, great location with free ample parking. Tram stop just a short stroll down the prom. Believe I stayed in room 214 Seaview spacious and very clean room which really made the weekend being able to sit and watch the world go by and the Mirror Ball lit up at night. Top marks Highlands, there is not a bad word to say, hope to be back again.

What a great hotel and can recommend. All the staff were friendly; breakfast and dinner were very good. The bed and pillows were comfortable and my corner bedroom would have had great views of the sea if the windows had not had what I think was sea spray on them from all the recent storms. I was allowed to come in out the recent storm and check in two hours ahead of the scheduled check-in time so that was an additional kindness. There was some evidence that some aspects of my en-suite had recently been refurbished but other fixtures still needed updating. All in all though, The Headlands was a very good experience and very good value.

Good honest friendly family run hotel. Comfortable with excellent breakfast. Great location and ample parking. Will stay again. Close to tram stop. Very reasonable prices and my room had a sea view. Staff were very helpful. A bit like stepping back in time in a positive way.

Stayed here for one night. Its on a quieter part of the sea front, south of the pleasure beach. It was great value, we got a nice friendly welcome and a good breakfast. The building is a bit tired (the bedrooms in particular need a refurb) but it has a bit of character and we enjoyed our overnight stay here. 3.5 would be fair!

The Headlands is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful town. Charles and his staff are amazing. Always friendly and helpful and intent on making sure you have a wonderful stay. My room overlooked the beach which was fantastic, on a clear day you can see the Welsh headlands which is where the hotel gets its name. I loved the full English breakfast they cooked me every day (in fact all the food was tremendous) it was a real treat as I don't eat like that very often. The hotel is in a great location and was very handy for going into town to see a band at the Waterloo Bar (another great place) I would wholeheartedly recommend the Headlands hotel to everyone.

As always a warm welcome (well, I say that loosely as we consider all staff as friends so welcome banter always good fun). Perfect location for our weekend, short tram / walk to Opera House for a gig on Friday and very close to our playground Blackpool Pleasure Beach. We didn’t have dinner this weekend but breakfast as always we had the works, fruit juice and cereal, followed by a full cooked, with toast and served on hot plates. Set us up for the day.
