Adora Luxury Hotel

We loved this hotel! It was quaint and charming, and the rooms are spacious! The hotel is well located - 15 minutes from the center (walkable) and on the Lake - you can walk to all main attractions. Our room had a beautiful view on the island. We had a suite, so lots of space, and our bedroom had curtains and shutters - which makes for a great sleep and the possibility of black out, if you'd like. The shower was large and luxury! We also had access to free parking.

Enjoyable 1 night stay in Ground Floor suite of the ADORA hotel. Beautiful views of the Lake from the many windows, & private terrace of our room The room is spacious & comfortable, with elaborate & traditional furnishings. Bathroom is large, but not so functional. The floor tiles are slippery, glassed shower cubicle not ideal, & there is no door/screen to part of the bathroom Had a nice breakfast in the basement dining room Great location. If not for the busy road between Hotel & the Lake (with constant flow of traffic); I would give the ADORA a 4 star rating

Villa Adora is an excellent boutique hotel on the shores of a stunning lake Bled. The rooms are very spacious, nicely furbished and offer beautiful views of lake Bled... Private parking is available on site. Very good a-la-carte breakfast. Highly recommended

We spent here three nights at the beginning of January.  The location is beautiful as it has a nice view on the lake (even though it is somewhat obstructed by the trees). The town centre is a 15 minutes walk away. One downside of the location is the traffic noise, as the house is right on the road. The windows, although of good quality, are not sound proof and the noise of passing cars may become somewhat bothering at times, although it tends to die down at night. The apartment we were given was very spacious, with two separate bedrooms and a spacious and comfortable living room. All very clean and functional, very well heated, and with characteristically decorated rooms. Breakfast was also very good, with ample choice of cold cuts, croissants, bread, eggs made on order etc. In view of all this I would give it an excellent rating as a b&b.  However the problem is that the establishment categorizes itself as a 4 star hotel. Now, this is a bit of a problem, as the expectations from a 4 star hotel are inevitably much higher than those from a b&b.  First of all, there was a bit of confusion in the booking stage, as they charged me on the card a deposit of 20 per cent while they were supposed to only ask for an authorization from the credit card company. They reversed the charge but then they made 2 authorization requests for the same amount which forced me to a lot of back and forth with my bank to try and clarify what had actually happened. Nothing bad, because I didn't get unduly charged, but it was a bit of a nuissance for which I didn't get a straight apology. This confusion would be acceptable for a b&b but for a 4 star hotel it is a bit annoying. A bit of an issue also as far as the amenities in the room. Good towels and minibar, but no slippers, no shower cap, no bathrobe, no telephone (not even an intercom to communicate with the reception). All these things should be standard features in a 4 star hotel also because the price was indeed that of a 4 star hotel (not of a b&b). Another problem was that while my wife was taking a shower in the morning after our first night, the hot water suddenly disappeared completely while she was all soapy. We asked for an explanation and were told that everything was working ok: the reason for the sudden lack of hot water was that too many guests took a shower at the same time and the tank run out of hot water. Again, this may be acceptable in a b&b but not in a 4 star hotel. A good perk was the free private parking, although it is a bit on the crammed side. So overall a very good, albeit very expensive, bed and breakfast or an average 4 star hotel. Once you know the limitations, at least you know what to expect. Overall, I would give it a (just about) very good rating. 

Boutique bed and breakfast modernly decorated. Comfy king sized bed facing the view of the island from the Prestige room. Also rented another room for adult kids on the main level as well for 2 nights. Able to capture platna (Gondola) boats to the island. Breakfasts extra in lower level. Family owned English speaking. Dining room table outdoor terrace sits 6 and perfect view of the island. Only critique: No firewood to start for fire. Main road under window so lights and traffic noise when windows and draperies open. At check in friendly reception offered fruit, wine, shot and treats (candy, cookies). Great memories! This is a little jewel of a hotel. While at the hotel, you feel like if you were part of a Cinderella-like story. The hotel is a converted private home with period furniture, beautiful lake views, and very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was good. The hotel has a wonderful location with a good restaurant just a block away. Parking is available in the premises. There is no elevator. A unique experience.

Super luxury hotel, with spacious rooms, in a perfect location. The location is right by Bled lake (separated by a road), within a short walking distance from boats to the island, restaurants and the walking path around the lake. Our room was on the first floor, with a balcony overlooking the lake. The room was spacious and has a minibar and coffee and tea makers (no cream was provided for the coffee). Tap water is not only drinkable but tastes very good. Breakfast is good, a la crate with table service, with a selection of yogurt, fruits, and eggs. Breakfast is on the expensive side for 25 per person and in spite of the quality falls short of expectations for that price level. There is someone on site in the mornings and around the time guests arrive (you’re asked for an approximate arrival time). At other times you can call for service. For the price level the level of service could be improved at points. Nonetheless, we had a terrific experience and highly recommend Adora Luxury hotel.

Great location !! SituTed on the edge of the beautiful lake bled close walk to all amenities- very small quite hotel with a lovely restaurant in the cellar - we didn’t eat in there but we did go in for a late night drink one evening and the staff were so friendly and wine knowledgeable Very comfortable hotel - we didn’t have a room with a view which want ideal when in such a beautiful location the hosts did try and accommodate an upgrade but it didn’t work out so make sure you book a room With. View !! My only critics were the bath towels weren’t big enough and out tea making facilities didn’t get re stocked every day - but this didn’t spoil our stay and would def recommend this charming little boutique hotel

This hotel is amazing! It’s beautiful and full of character, its an absolute boutique gem on Lake Bled which I would highly reccomend. If returning to Lake Bled we would defienetely stay here without hesitation, it’s a little bit of a walk into the main town but so worth the walk to stay here.
