We arrived after-hours and there was no instructions on how to get in once you have keys. My husband managed to guess we could get into the locked underground parking with a swipe thing on our keys. Then we got into hotel through the lift in the basement. Instructions should be more clear about this. In the underground parking there was leaked water throughout and an inch or two lying around our park space. Smelt disgusting and we had to be careful not to slip or get feet wet all our stay. Hallway in hotel smelt like a wall of cigarette smoke when we arrived. Was better next day. The room itself was fine, nice decor, fragrance diffuser gave nice scent. Bathroom old but functional. Great to have a kitchen to use. No noise issues. Tissues would be useful. Stayed 26-28 April 2024 in room 14.

Room was overall big enough for couple mangement was great and friendly bedroom light and fan didnt work, and th3 doors hot stuck, blinds on windows could be replaced as they are ripped down the bottom and van be stuck opening being on ground floor us quiet noisy with people right above loud all night ,
Pool was good and heated upstairs roof top eas great
Tv could be upfraded to jave paytv channels

Check in was easy and the onsite managers were super helpful and friendly. Onsite secure parking was a plus. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apar**ent (room 33 on the third level). The apar**ent was very spacious and had everything we needed. The only downside was no air conditioning in the bedrooms but we just closed all the doors and let the air con from the living area flow in. It did have ceiling fans too. Ensuite bathroom was very small but all we needed for our two night stay. Main bathroom was huge and had a spa bath. Balconies were roomy and stretched across the entire apar**ent. Pool was a good size and had BBQ amenities. Overall a fabulous apar**ent that suited our needs to attend a concert at Sandstone Point. Would definitely stay again!

The facilities around the retreat felt outdated. The pool area did not feel calm and relaxing. It lacked a garden and greener. The photos of the property did not match the actual size of the pool.
Our room was fantastic and reception were very friendly and welcoming.

Ok was on a Golfing Trip could do with a major reno very dated bathrooms and Kitchen are very rustic don’t think it’s been done since it been built

Cleaning needs to be more thorough I reach into the side of the couch as my toddler has put her dummy in there and also found a sock and hankie. Under the couches also needed a good vacuum.
Would be great if face washers were supplied with all the other linens

ll appointed, large balcony overlooking foreshore reserve beautiful trees and bird life
Proximity to Bribie golf course and resturant
Only drawback would be without car you are isolated.

We have only good things to say about Fairways Resort! Firstly we where able to check-in 1 hour early. Which was so nice. Our 2 bedroom unit was clean with nice beach decor. There was a good amount of kitchen items, toilet paper, pegs, pillows, towels. The room was not serviced in 5 days but we knew this when we booked in so just needed to hang towels and bathmats out on the balcony. One airer was provided, we also hung towels over the verandah railing (no complaints about that from anyone). One of the single beds was a bit springy for one of our daughter's liking. We told Reception the next day and they bought us a mattress from a roll-away bed straight away with no problem to lay on top of the other one. This fixed the issue. Pool and surrounding amenities (toilets & BBQ area) where very clean! With plenty of tables, chairs and lounge chairs to laze on. Basement parking is allocated so always guaranteed your own spot. Highly recommend (Jan 2023)
