I was mostly satisfied with the location and convenience. The public bath isn't a natural hot spring, but it's great for soaking in hot water and relieving fatigue. Shopping is incredibly easy, as there are practically all kinds of stores nearby.

The room is spacious and clean. Staff are friendly. Walking distance to the shinjuku train station estimated 15-20mins. Surroundings is quiet althought is near to kabukicho night life area.

Misleading Photos, Cramped Rooms & Disappointing Breakfast

The room photos do not reflect reality. We booked a twin room for two elderly family members and a 3‑bed room for ourselves. The twin room was shockingly small — two mattresses placed wall‑to‑wall with no side access, making it impossible for elderly guests to get in and out of bed safely. There was no wardrobe or usable storage space.

The 3‑bed room was only slightly better. All three mattresses were placed together with just a narrow walkway at the foot of the beds. Again, no wardrobe and very limited space for luggage.

Breakfast was also disappointing and not worth the extra cost. The nearby 7‑Eleven offered far better choices for much less.

Overall, the hotel is not suitable for families, elderly travelers, or anyone expecting comfort or accurate room representation.

Easy to get to from Asakusa Station. Just a 3-stop bus ride brings you right to the front of the accommodation. There's a Lawson convenience store across the street. It's also close to Tokyo Skytree, and you can enjoy the view along the Sumida River. Perfect for two people, with enough space to open two suitcases.

Although the room is small, compared to other hotels, this one is among the best. The bathroom is spacious, which makes the stay very comfortable. The hotel location is excellent,very close to the train station. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Tokyo.

Great location, but the hotel doesn't have its own dedicated parking. You have to park next door, and the entrance to that parking lot is a bit hidden. There aren't many convenience stores nearby; there's one within walking distance. However, the hotel staff's service attitude is excellent.

It is very near to the Beppu train station, about 3~5 minutes walking.

Breakfast is good, wide selection of Japanese and some western food.

Public bath ~ you need to walk to another Amanek Hotel, just few steps away. Nice hot pool with sauna facilities. Only complaint is the female cleaner keep coming in and out when the male guests are in the changing room and public bath. Doesn't she have better time to come and do cleaning and service? The bath area is close between late morning to afternoon.

Right by Asahikawa JR Station, just across the road. The street downstairs is full of restaurants, super convenient. A taxi to Asahikawa Airport is about 5000 yen.

The hotel gets really busy during peak hours, and the elevators can be very slow, stopping on every floor. You can skip the breakfast; it's not very good, and there's not much to eat. It costs 2200 yen if you buy it separately. You're better off finding a coffee shop downstairs or grabbing something from a convenience store instead.
