The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful; they always assisted with luggage upon arrival and departure, and greeted me whenever we passed in the hallways. The room was very spacious, and the location couldn't be better – it's super convenient for shopping and dining at Pavilion. There's also an outdoor swimming pool and a gym on the top floor. Plus, there's a covered walkway to KLCC, so no worries about rain.

However, on my last night, the people in the next room (I'm not sure what nationality they were) started having a party at midnight, talking loudly. I put up with it for about 40 minutes, but it showed no signs of stopping, so I called the front desk to intervene, and then it finally quieted down.

P.S. The water quality in Malaysia is a bit poor, so I brought my own filtered shower head to use.

Oh my goodness! We went straight to the hotel after landing in Kuala Lumpur. We arrived four hours before the 3 PM check-in time, but the hotel welcomed us in the lobby right away. The bellboy was so cute and strong, which really made us feel warm and welcomed upon our arrival. When we got to the 53rd floor, the front desk found two Chinese-speaking staff members to assist us, and they were even a supervisor and a subordinate! It was truly touching. They helped us store our luggage, showed us to the restrooms, and let us choose an aromatherapy scent while offering iced tea and snacks. The whole process was polite, thoughtful, and gentle.

When we checked into our room in the afternoon, we couldn't have been happier. It had a bathtub, double sinks, a smart toilet, a king-sized bed, a large sofa, and a spacious shower. In the afternoon, someone even came to turn down the bed and light an aromatherapy diffuser. The breakfast was incredibly exquisite – a combination of buffet and à la carte! Absolutely delicious! The hotel's location is superb, connected to Pavilion via a skybridge, so we didn't have to worry about sun or rain when going in and out. It truly maximized our sense of happiness and relaxation during the trip! Most importantly, we had an unobstructed view of the Petronas Twin Towers and all of Kuala Lumpur. Jalan Alor was right behind Pavilion; it's such a prime location! I highly, highly recommend Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur!

Coordination for the hotel transfer was smooth. Staff was proactive and our overall stay was so pleasant. Response to every query was prompt. Loved the breakfast buffet! They feature signature dishes daily from different places in Indonesia and it was so authentic. There were several live stations for eggs, breads and pancakes, local healthy drinks and even noodles or soups, even fresh fruit juices - you can request for your preference. Staff is awesome - one of the heads of the restaurant - his name is Fir - even recommended his favorite personal drink to make for us. Lobby staff are always warm and smiling. Amenities are well-maintained. The fact that we can have access to three hotels under Banyantree was amazing! Loved the beach! Loved the restaurant vibe esp at XANA club - food is impeccable!
Place is good, food is great and people are wonderful! What more can you ask for? 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😊😊😊 Coming from a FIRST TIMER to BINTAN.

Absolutely — I’d make it warm and genuinely glowing, while still giving the constructive feedback without taking away from the overall experience.

My stay at Banyan Tree Bintan was truly wonderful, and honestly, what stood out the most was the service.

Every single staff member we encountered was spectacular — warm, genuine, lovely and absolutely top-notch. You can really tell that the team goes the extra mile, and it shows in the little details and the way they genuinely cared for us throughout our stay. The hospitality felt sincere rather than simply being “good service”, and that made such a difference. I would genuinely return to Banyan Tree Bintan because of the people and the level of care we received.

If I had to be a little critical, the food was slightly disappointing when compared with the standards I would expect from Banyan Tree. The villas are also starting to feel a little worn in certain areas and could probably use some refreshing. The in-room TV streaming, especially HBO and some of the other services, was also extremely laggy and frustrating at times.

That said, these are small things compared to the overall experience. The warmth, attentiveness and genuine care from the staff really made our stay special. Banyan Tree Bintan, you have an amazing team — please take good care of them because they are truly the heart of the resort.

We had a beautiful stay, felt very well taken care of, and would absolutely return. ❤️

At Banyan Tree Yangcheng Lake, Martin, our ambassador, truly amazed us with his top-notch service. His professionalism was evident from start to finish – from the seamless check-in upon arrival to the thoughtful farewell at departure, every step was effortlessly smooth. What was truly impressive, despite a slight hiccup with breakfast, was how his care and service more than made up for it. Even more remarkable was his perfectly balanced attentiveness – discreetly offering an umbrella on a rainy day, subtly noting dietary restrictions during meals, and magically producing snacks for our tired child. These unexpected details made our entire vacation incredibly enjoyable. Martin proved through his actions that exceptional service isn't just about following procedures; it's a perfect blend of genuine care and expertise. His service alone ensures we'll choose Banyan Tree Yangcheng Lake again on our next visit to Suzhou.

Banyan Tree Suzhou Shishan is the perfect resort for a family vacation with kids! The private hot spring in the courtyard was amazing – the water was clean, and it felt very private. We had a blast. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich and varied, with a semi-buffet style that ensured everything looked great and was fresh. They even included local Suzhou specialties, and the drink selection was extensive and visually appealing. The resort grounds are tranquil and elegant. Alice and all the staff were very attentive. Overall, our stay was a perfect 10, and I highly recommend it for families traveling with children.
