Belmond Monasterio: The Best Hotel in Cusco, Beyond Any Comparison

Without exaggeration, Belmond Monasterio is the best hotel in Cusco. Even after trying two other higher-priced Belmond properties and the JW Marriott, I still firmly believe this is the ultimate choice.

The beauty of this hotel is beyond words. The elegant public spaces and tranquil gardens create an atmosphere of timeless serenity. The classic, historic walls whisper stories of the past, while the dazzling golden chapel adds a breathtaking sense of grandeur. Every detail is a masterpiece.

Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt.

I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name.

In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio.

We had an amazing stay. The food was incredible, especially the breakfast. And the service was better than anywhere else. They helped us with everything we needed and treated us like family :)

The location and the view of the hotel are impeccable and the rooms have unrivaled sea and mountain views. The facilities are actually very good, but the strange bathroom shower head design makes the bath extremely awkward. The hotel is the old grand theatre, and it is the town that continues to go down. The distances are just right. The beach is not good, but the beaches in southern Italy are the same. It is the kind of large-grained sandstone beach, which is very ground. The only thing that I feel dissatisfied is that the Italians are really too playable. The party is still playing music loudly at 12:30 in the evening. It is not a complaint that it is estimated that it will not be closed several times. Parking is also a bit difficult, we all parked in the parking lot lumbi garage about 2 km away, and then take the shuttle bus, convenient.

A Wonderful Stay at Villa Sant’Andrea, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina Mare
I had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Sant’Andrea. The hotel is incredibly beautiful and unique, with stunning views that made every moment special. My room was very comfortable, and I enjoyed a restful and peaceful sleep throughout my stay.
I would like to sincerely thank all the staff who made my experience so memorable—from the team who checked me in to the bellman and doorman who kindly assisted me upon arrival and departure. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
It is no surprise that this hotel is so famous. You have created such a beautiful memory for my vacation, one that I will always cherish. I truly look forward to returning in the future.
Thank you to everyone for such an exceptional experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely loved our stay!
We had a fantastic time here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained, and the staff were absolutely wonderful — always friendly, welcoming and happy to help with anything we needed.
The location was great and made it easy for us to get out and enjoy Bali, while still having a relaxing place to come back to at the end of the day.
What really stood out for us was the hospitality. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble.
We leave Bali with some fantastic memories and would have no hesitation staying here again. Highly recommended and a big thank you to all the staff who helped make our holiday so enjoyable.
