Staying at the Kempinski camping room with family over Christmas 2025 was an incredibly impressive experience overall.

We checked in at the 15th-floor Executive Lounge on Christmas Eve. The hotel is located on the left bank of Beijing's 'Seine River,' the Liangma River, and you can walk to the riverside via an internal passage. The main hotel building is also connected to the Lufthansa Center mall by an indoor corridor.

During our stay, every staff member, whether it was the person who checked me in, the concierge in the lobby, or the housekeeping staff we met in the corridors, greeted us actively and warmly.

Special thanks to Clark and his colleagues at the Executive Lounge for helping me coordinate our check-in and afternoon tea arrangements. They made a later check-in for family members (with young children) feel incredibly welcoming and festive.

The camping room setup was very thoughtfully designed. For the Christmas theme this time, in addition to the original large tent, there was a Christmas tree and festive decorations. I heard that the room's furnishings and decorations are constantly adjusted according to different seasons and holidays.

My child has already requested to stay at the Kempinski Hotel Lufthansa Center again for our next holiday.

The room was decent, and the cleanliness was good. The hotel is right by the lake, so the environment is absolutely fantastic. I especially want to commend the room service pizza – it was really delicious! The breakfast buffet, on the other hand, wasn't very memorable. The hotel's swimming pool is quite clean, and for those sensitive to cold, there's a kids' pool and a hot spring pool, perfect for kids to enjoy water activities even in winter. However, the hotel's kids' club is quite small and a bit disappointing.

The hotel boasts a wonderful environment. To enter the hotel's designated area, you need to provide reservation information (either a confirmed hotel booking or a dining reservation). Once checked in, you can inform the front desk beforehand if you plan to exit and re-enter. Otherwise, you'll need to present your reservation details every time you pass through the main gate of this resort zone (situated between the hotel and the city roads).

We visited on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy. The staff at check-in kindly upgraded our room to a family room in the main building. The upgraded room matched the photos from our original booking perfectly.

The swimming pool is a 25-meter pool with depths ranging from 1.2 to 1.6 meters. Being a weekday, there weren't many children around. During our visits, it was typically occupied by only four or five adults, mostly serious lap swimmers.

The breakfast selection wasn't overly extensive. There might be more variety on weekends when it's busier, but all the basic options were available and sufficient. Booking a room package with breakfast included is definitely more cost-effective, as paying for breakfast separately proved quite expensive.

The room space and view are good. The toiletries in the room are also very useful.
Most of the staff in the store are quite friendly, especially the old man and the young man at the door (the people at Yanqi Tower are not so friendly in comparison).
The quality of the dinner in the Chinese restaurant needs to be improved...

The hotel is excellently located with internal connection to the Dubai Mall. You can also see burj khalifer in front of you at the swimmimg pool. Enjoyed our stay and would book again in the future

I stayed in Dubai for 12days, I have stayed in several hotels including Sofitel, LEGOLAND, Atlantics, Ritz Carlton and this hotel, this hotel is the worse one. We ordered through trip.com for a burj khalifa view , when we arrived, the reception lady persuaded us to add 3000AED to a bigger room, we rejected because we have paid all room fee in trip.com, the she gave me a room with a renovations smell, the smell made me headache and this kind of renovation smell is harmful, so I complained, I don’t understood whether if I don’t pay extra money to upgrade, they gave me this kind of smelly room. Finally, they changed our room but the view of burj khalifa is missing, I don’t argue with them, it’s so tired but I don’t think it’s a 5 star hotel.  Very bad experience!

We stayed for one night as a group of four and enjoyed close rooms on request the staff was helpful and when we told them we were celebrating my sisters graduation they didn’t hesitate to bring us a complimentary cake. The rooms are clean and the location is perfect it took us 6 minutes from our room to the mall.

Can live for a long time The room is spacious and bright

Everything was perfect, from the front desk staff, garage and ground parking attendants, those issuing parking vouchers and inputting license plates, to the housekeeping on each floor, and the restaurant and executive lounge service teams—everyone was friendly, polite, and patient. During the day, doormen in European-style uniforms assisted with car drop-offs and luggage handling. The dining options were plentiful and of high quality. Both the hotel's interior and exterior, as well as the room condition, exceeded expectations. The suite was furnished to feel like a home, complete with various furniture and amenities. The executive lounge environment was also very elegant and comfortable, and the hotel is close to the ferry and cruise terminals. As a Bund hotel, it offers excellent value for money overall and is a perfect place to enjoy beautiful scenery, delicious food, and unwind.

The location is fantastic, close to Zhang Yuan and the new Louie ship, also the largest Starbucks. You can find both luxury shopping and dining options nearby. The hotel is situated at the back, providing a quieter atmosphere, which I prefer.

However, if you stay on a higher floor, the network connection may not be very stable. If you're not particular about having a view, this is the best location to choose.
